Tongtian, who collected the most treasures, simply placed the Immortal Slaughtering Formation in one place to trap the spiritual treasures in that area before slowly collecting them.
Then there's Xuan Tian. With a sweep of his Heaven and Earth Dust Brush, dozens of innate spiritual treasures were swept into the Three Thousand Worlds. However, Xuan Tian valued quality and appearance, so he didn't collect many. But even at his speed, he eventually collected nearly a hundred magical treasures.
Laozi collected forty or fifty items, Yuanshi collected over thirty, Nuwa collected only twenty-odd, the two Westerners working together also collected only twenty-odd, and Tongtian collected the most, over a hundred. There were still over a hundred magical treasures on this Treasure Sharing Rock, but as if summoned, they all broke through the chaos and flew into the primordial world, presumably to find their destined owners.
Afterwards, the group went to Zixiao Palace to thank the Ancestor, but they could not find any trace of Zixiao Palace. They could only bow in the direction of Zixiao Palace and then bid each other farewell. Before leaving, the Three Pure Ones once again invited Xuantian to gather at Kunlun Mountain.
Not long after the Three Pure Ones and the others left, Xuan Tian returned and took back the Treasure Sharing Rock. After thinking for a moment, he headed towards the Purple Cloud Palace.
Upon arriving at Zixiao Palace, before even entering, Xuan Tian saw Haotian standing at the entrance. Xuan Tian, believing Hongjun had sent him, approached Haotian and asked, "The Dao Ancestor instructed me to tell my senior brother, 'The Way of Heaven is unjust, unfair, and ultimately just; everything depends on your own destiny.'" Having said this, Haotian walked inside. Xuan Tian, however, stood there stunned. What did the Dao Ancestor mean? Completely bewildered, Xuan Tian simply took out his Heaven and Earth Futon and sat down to meditate in front of Zixiao Palace.
Thus, a hundred years later, the gates of Zixiao Palace opened, and Haotian walked out, saying to Xuantian, "The Dao Ancestor wants you to go and see the Primordial World." Xuantian thought to himself, "The Primordial World? Could it be that my Dao is in the Primordial World?" Unable to figure it out, he bid farewell to Haotian and came to the Primordial World. This time, he did not use any Daoist magic, but transformed into a Daoist and walked step by step in the Primordial World.
Now, let's talk about Hongyun. His lineage was profound; he was a red cloud who attained enlightenment at the beginning of creation. A kind-hearted man, he had offered his seat to Zhunti in Zixiao Palace after witnessing the suffering of two people in the West. This offended Kunpeng, causing him to lose his sainthood. Later, in Zixiao Palace, everyone argued over the opportunity to become a saint, but Hongyun alone advised others to be kind and not fight for it. Hongjun, seeing his kind nature, entrusted the opportunity to him. However, this incurred the jealousy of Kunpeng and the others. Knowing that the opportunity to become a saint was a hot potato, Hongyun, upon leaving Zixiao Palace, quickly returned to Wuzhuang Temple with his friend Zhenyuanzi, hoping to use Zhenyuanzi's Earth Book to create a great formation for temporary refuge until he became a saint.
Kunpeng's primordial spirit was captured by the Demon-Summoning Banner and controlled by Dijun. Therefore, he desired the opportunity to become a saint, to attain sainthood, and to escape Dijun's control. However, unexpectedly, he risked great danger in the Zixiao Palace to plead with the Dao Ancestor, only to find that Hongyun had obtained the opportunity. Hongyun had first caused Kunpeng to lose his sainthood, and now she had caused him to be further removed from it. Kunpeng knew he couldn't forgive Hongyun. A plan quickly formed in his mind. Just then, Dijun and Taiyi, deeply resenting Kunpeng for vying for their sainthood, wanted to kill him. But Kunpeng had walked right into their trap, coming to confess his crimes. Kunpeng, a man of great patience, begged and flattered Dijun and Taiyi, offering a plan that could grant the Heavenly Court a sainthood. Dijun knew that Kunpeng, as the teacher of all demons, was quick-witted and, despite his ill intentions, was an indispensable talent in the Heavenly Court. Therefore, he spared Kunpeng and allowed him to reveal his plan.
It is said that Hongyun had stayed in Wuzhuang Temple for a long time, five hundred years, but had not encountered any danger. In addition, he had gained nothing from comprehending the Primordial Purple Qi and was usually quite lonely. So he wanted to resign from Zhenyuanzi and go to the prehistoric world to visit his friends. Zhenyuanzi could not persuade him to stay and let him go.
Hongyun left Wuzhuang Temple and searched for his friends along the way, but could not find any of them. In the end, he had no choice but to return to Wuzhuang Temple. Just then, he encountered Kunpeng, Dijun Donghuang and others, who also brought many demon soldiers from the Heavenly Court. All ten demon saints came out and surrounded Hongyun.
In fact, as soon as Hongyun left Wuzhuang Temple, a little demon informed Dijun. Dijun then wanted to bring people to find Hongyun, but fearing that Hongyun would escape, he also gathered most of the Heavenly Court to surround her. Hongyun knew their intentions and prepared to fight to the death. She took out her Nine-Nine Soul-Scattering Gourd, which she had taken from the gourd's spiritual root on Buzhou Mountain, and said to Dijun, "Dijun, I have no grudge against you, why are you besieging me?" Kunpeng shouted, "Hongyun, do you think you can just call the Heavenly Emperor by his name? The Heavenly Emperor established the Heavenly Court and governs the demon races in the universe. He has supreme merit. You yourself have no virtue. What right do you have to obtain the opportunity to become a saint? Quickly join the Heavenly Emperor, and you may be able to save your life. Otherwise, these billions of demon soldiers will pulverize you to pieces, and your true spirit will be destroyed."
Hongyun knew that Kunpeng was behind this, and he was equally rude to Kunpeng, saying, "You feathered beast, what right do you have to lecture me? I was granted the opportunity to become a saint by the Supreme Dao Ancestor himself, how could I easily hand it over to someone else?"
Upon hearing Hongyun's words, Kunpeng's eyes rolled back in anger, and Dijun was also furious. Why? Hongyun called Kunpeng a feathered beast, while Dijun was transformed from a three-legged golden crow, the most powerful of all the primordial beasts. He was usually very proud of his origins, and how could he let this go after hearing someone speak of him like that? He roared and ordered his men to surround Hongyun, "Hongyun! If you hand over the opportunity to become a saint now, I will guarantee that your true spirit will not dissipate, only your physical body will be destroyed and your primordial spirit will be scattered. At most, you can start over. Otherwise, I will immediately make your true spirit disappear and vanish into the world."
Hongyun was also provoked by Dijun's words. This honest man usually didn't get angry, but when he did, it was earth-shattering. He shouted, "Dijun, I originally respected you as the Heavenly Emperor, but you insist on this. I will see what ability you have to kill me." He then pointed his gourd at the demon soldiers and emitted bursts of red sand. This red sand could destroy souls. Hongyun himself was a quasi-saint with the cultivation of severing one of his corpses. How could these demon soldiers resist? They were all slaughtered.
