Farewell to myself

"I'm sorry." He stood with his back straight, amidst the fluttering leaves. He slowly closed his eyes, feeling the patter of leaves against his face. His expression relaxed slightly, its hard lines softening, yet a rare hint of fatigue appeared. A few strands of hair fell between his childish brows, ruffling in the breeze, making them look slightly disheveled. His face was as pale as snow.

"There's nothing to be sorry about." Su Yin's voice was so soft, so soft that it seemed as if only she could hear it clearly. "This is my own decision."

Rong Hua didn't say anything, not even the slightest unnecessary movement, and watched Su Yin's actions with a slightly sad look in her eyes. However, she couldn't see anything, she couldn't see anything.

Closing his eyes in despair, enduring the onslaught of pain, Su Yin slowly took a step forward...

No, don't. Rong Hua felt a pause, and a suffocating feeling began to spread.

Not caring about Rong Hua's reaction, not caring about anything around him, Su Yin staggered...towards the light.

"I really don't know whether to say I'm lucky or unlucky." Su Yin smiled weakly. The ancient jade flashed a dazzling green light in the air. Although it was such a gorgeous and compelling look, it made her originally tender face look sad in a different way.

Su Yin murmured softly, as if she was talking to Gu Yu, but it seemed as if she was only talking to herself, "You are not doing this to me on purpose because I threw you to the ground and said a lot of unpleasant things to you, are you?"

"They brought me to this godforsaken place, showed me so many handsome guys, made me feel like I was watching an idol drama every day, and then they treated me like a fool and played with me."

"But you, just when I was about to accept my fate, just when I was about to give up everything, just when I thought I was going to die of old age, sickness, and pain, you appeared inexplicably again, giving me hope, but it was so slim and out of reach."

Su Yin smiled sarcastically and said quietly, "You don't know, but after I came to this world, all I heard were legends about how powerful you were. I was wondering what a mysterious and magical thing you were. Who knew you were the broken thing that my boss begged me to give up."

"How ironic, you're seeking revenge, aren't you?"

The air was silent, not even the sound of an insect chirping. Only the girl's slightly mournful voice echoed through the air, as if she were mumbling to herself like a madman. But for the first time, Rong Hua listened more attentively than anyone else, desperately trying to persuade himself not to look, not to think, as this was his mission. But somewhere in his heart, the pain was so severe that he couldn't breathe.

Su Yin was still talking to himself, looking at the shining ancient jade as if worshiping it.

"Now, you have to do me a favor. Since you dragged me into this place, I don't think you will just ignore me, right?" A faint smile bloomed on the pale face, but it disappeared in an instant, and a hint of deep color appeared on his face. "If you want to completely escape from a place, you must first completely become a member of this place, accept this place, and get familiar with it. Only then can you plan other things, right? Is this... what you want me to do?"

Muttering unconsciously, his eyes gradually lost focus. Slowly coming back to his senses, Su Yin looked at the ancient jade again, slowly stretched out his hands, and an unprecedented ruthlessness appeared in his eyes.
