(Interspersed memories) Xi Chen, passing by 1

Outside the window, the sound of wind passed by, the north wind was howling, the world was covered with ice and snow, and the water droplets turned into ice and jade trees and silver flowers. Inside the house, the fine sandalwood made the whole space emit a unique fragrance, and the fire also slowly floated red light, making the whole space full of warmth. Xi Chen inadvertently picked up a cup of hot tea at hand and sipped it to his lips.

"Coming." Xi Chen suddenly said, smiling slightly but not turning back.

There was a loud sound of a door opening, accompanied by heavy footsteps. "This horrible weather is really going to freeze me to death." The girl behind him was obviously not as elegant as Xi Chen. She stomped her feet hard, sat down on the chair opposite Xi Chen, took the kettle on the table and began to drink hot tea in big gulps.

"Slow down." Xi Chen shook his head helplessly and handed over a cup of hot tea he had just poured.

Su Yin drank it all in one gulp without even looking at it.

"It's really too cold. Look, my hands are frozen red just from a few steps away." Su Yin said as he stretched out his hand for Xi Chen to see, as if he was afraid that he wouldn't believe it.

Xi Chen was stunned for a moment, then smiled softly and said helplessly, "You."

After carefully placing a warm hot water bottle into Su Yin's arms, Xi Chen said, "Actually, your ability to utilize your spiritual power has greatly improved. Intentionally using your spiritual power at any time will help maintain your body temperature."

"Ah." Su Yin was stunned, then slapped his head and said regretfully, "Oh, I forgot again."

Xi Chen shook his head helplessly and said nothing.

"I still feel a little uncomfortable." Su Luoyin smiled awkwardly, rolled her eyes slightly and found an excuse to shirk responsibility. "Besides, it's winter, so we have to act like winter. If we live in winter just like we live in summer, then it's not winter anymore, right?"

Faced with Su Yin's twisted logic, Xi Chen was speechless. He could only smile lightly and pick up the book at hand again. He did not insist on competing with Su Yin.

"Don't look, Xiaochen."

The scroll in his hand was empty. Xi Chen was stunned for a moment, then said helplessly, "Yin'er, I'm much older than you."

"Yes, but you can't always read books. What's so good about it? You're just looking at yourself like an old man." Su Yin frowned exaggeratedly, as if he wanted to squeeze out all the wrinkles on Xi Chen's face to warn him.

"Didn't you go out to play today?" Xi Chen shook his head helplessly and no longer cared about the issue of age. Xi Chen looked at the scroll that was casually thrown beside Su Yin, with a hint of helplessness in his eyes.

"No, they said they were very busy today. Even the little followers around you were confused and no one paid any attention to me." Su Yin said dejectedly, lying on the table.

"What a pity. It's a nice day today." Xi Chen said with a hint of regret.

Su Yin tilted her head to look at the window. She was so busy jogging that she didn't notice it. As Xi Chen said, the sunlight was shining into the house. Although there was no special warmth, it made people feel better unconsciously.

As he watched, Su Yin suddenly came up with an idea.

"Xiaochen, come with me." Su Yin jumped up with a smile, pulled Xi Chen who was sitting leisurely alone at the table and was about to rush out the door.

"Yin'er?" Xi Chen was startled, but his steps still subconsciously followed Su Yin's.

"Come with me!" Su Luoyin turned around and gave Xi Chen a playful smile. Yang Gu spread a fair smile, which warmed the whole cold winter.
