"How is it? Do you feel extra energetic after coming out to bask in the sun?" Su Yin stretched hard and said lazily.
Xi Chen chuckled lightly without saying a word, the warm sunlight still shining on his body. After being in the severe cold for a long time, no matter when and where he was, he was surrounded by a warm spiritual power. Now the sunlight shone on him so directly, although it did not feel any special temperature to him, it was a different kind of extra warmth. Sure enough, he even felt like his body was going to melt into a ball.
"That's right." Xi Chen responded to Su Yin.
"Yes." Su Yin nodded in agreement, and suddenly said with some regret, "Hey, but the sunlight here really seems to have no temperature at all. I don't feel particularly warm after being in the sun for a while." Su Yin raised her hand and let the sunlight pass through her fingers, covering her eyes that were facing the sun.
"It's extremely cold here, and I've gotten used to it all year round. It's really hard to adapt when I go out occasionally." Xi Chen said with a smile.
"Yeah, although it's a little cold, it does feel like a paradise." Su Yin tilted his head and suddenly became interested. "The whole world is white, and it seems that even people have become much purer. But... puff."
Su Yin smiled exaggeratedly and couldn't help joking to Xi Chen, "Thank goodness you grew up here, otherwise, you would never be so white and so beautiful. You should just be content." As he said that, Su Yin gently patted Xi Chen's chest and said with some envy.
White? Good-looking? Was that a consolation? Xi Chen shook his head, a bit amused, but the corners of his mouth curled slightly, clearly in a much better mood. From the side, the man was dressed in a gentle crescent-colored garment. His long, inky hair flowed gently, tied only at the end with a white headband. His skin shone like crystal in the sunlight. His lips curled slightly, revealing his thin, sharply defined lips, a look of exceptional gentleness and elegance.
"However, even though you are so fair, you still need to get more sun exposure. It can supplement more vitamins and keep you healthy." Su Yin patted Xi Chen's shoulder and explained science to him.
"Vitamins, what do you mean?" Xi Chen was stunned and asked Su Yin with his head slightly tilted.
"Oh, who cares? It's something that will make you healthier and better." Su Yin brushed it off and turned to Xi Chen with a warm smile. "When the weather is nice in the future, we can come out to bask in the sun together. Even though we're just two old people, the scenery is pretty good."
Xi Chen turned around and saw that they were standing on the high platform at the front of the hall. The sun was pouring down, and the ice and snow that had not melted all year round were sparkling with beautiful spots of light in various colors under the sunlight. The light clouds were like sand, and the sun was shining brightly. It was indeed a rare good day.
He curved his eyebrows and agreed softly, "Okay."
"Of course." Su Yin agreed immediately. "In life, don't stay in the house like an old man. Go out and move around regularly. Only then will your body get better and better."
"Let me tell you, when I was in school, I wanted to pretend to be sick and ask for leave, but..."
Su Yin on the side began to chatter incessantly as if a faucet was turned on. Xi Chen just listened with a chuckle. Even the paleness from his year-long illness was driven away a lot. The dancing blue figure beside him caught all his attention, as if he could never look away once he saw it.
“…”
The sunlight fell on Xi Chen's pale face. He closed his eyes tightly. There was no warmth of another person around him. At some moment in the past, I thought it could be like this forever and ever. In the end, am I still... alone?
