Time passed by little by little. Qin Lan was knitting, and my hands couldn't be idle either.
Before we knew it, it was already mid-afternoon and we still hadn't found dinner.
After giving Qin Lan a few instructions, I went down the mountain with my backpack.
This island is tropical, so I naturally understand that supplements such as fruits must be hard to find, but what I want most at the moment is probably coconut.
I searched a few places and all I could find were two grape plants, besides a few rotten fruits. As for coconuts, I really didn't find any.
But just when I was a little confused, a ray of light filled my eyes. With the sunlight, the corners of my mouth once again raised a 30-degree smile. The coconuts I needed were in the depression not far away.
It took me a lot of effort to slowly crawl into the depression. My shoes were covered with mud. This place was really not easy to walk on, it was slippery and sticky. I lowered my head and pinched a handful of mud, and found the answer.
No wonder it is so difficult to pass through here, it turns out there is clay of such high purity.
Holding the clay in my hands, new ideas came to my mind.
There are three coconut trees in this depression, one of which has five coconuts on it. I weighed the weight of my backpack and it was a bit of a stretch to bring these five coconuts back, but since I finally got the coconuts, it would be a waste not to take them.
After deciding what to do, I took out my machete from my backpack. Maybe because I was too tired, I spent a full 5 minutes chopping the tree trunk which looked thin.
The coconuts on the tree were all ripe, just as I had imagined, and there was nothing unusual about them.
I took the tools and grapes out of my backpack. I put all the coconuts into the backpack first, and then stuffed the tools in. As for the grapes, I naturally didn't want them to be squashed, so I held them in my hands.
These five coconuts were really heavy. I had to rest for a while after walking for a while. By the time I got back to my residence, it was already half dark.
