Chapter 35: Going on a Long Trip

"Since you're going by yourself, take this with you."

I saw Qin Lan slowly walk up to me, and then slowly took off the jewelry on her neck.

"This is the amulet my parents left me. Since I can't be with you, let this amulet protect you on my behalf for now."

After Qin Lan finished speaking, she hung the jade around my neck.

"Don't worry, just wait for me at home."

I pinched Qin Lan's face lovingly. The jade still had the temperature of her body. When it touched her skin, I felt much more energetic.

After saying goodbye to Qin Lan, I walked out of the cave alone. As soon as I walked out of the cave, I felt the strong wind. I looked back at our shed. Fortunately, it was supported firmly when it was built, otherwise it is hard to imagine whether it would collapse now.

Because of the strong wind, it took me half an hour longer to reach the beach this time.

When I got to the beach, I still planned to use the old method.

But this time I didn’t bring Qin Lan with me. If I threw the bag on the shore, I was afraid it would be taken away by unknown animals.

So I found a rock cave near the shore and temporarily put my bag in the cave. To be on the safe side, I kept the small knife with me. The big saber was not convenient to carry, so I temporarily threw it into the bag.

In this way, I climbed from the edge of the rock to the beach below again against the wind and sand.

This time the wind and waves were so strong that I failed to cast the net several times in a row. Finally, when the wind was a little weaker, I threw the fishing net out.

When the fishing net was pulled back, it was still full of fish.

Following the old routine, I took the fish out of the fishing net and threw them up one by one.

But when I was halfway through throwing it, I seemed to hear the sound of footsteps stepping into the soil, but the next moment I denied my idea, thinking it was probably the sound of the strong wind stirring up the sand.

The net was empty. The wind and sand were so strong that I wasn't sure I could climb up with something like this.

I simply put a stone in the fishing net and threw it towards the shore with all my strength.

Then I slowly climbed up along the same path.

But just as I emerged from the shore, a pair of legs appeared in front of me, and an iron lump was pointing at my head.

At this moment, a big man was holding a gun to my head. It seemed that what I heard just now was not wrong. There was indeed someone up there.

Although a gun was pointed at my head, I still raised my head boldly to look at the person who came.

The enemy in front of me was a white man with a high nose bridge and blue eyes. He was about the same height as me, but much more muscular than me.

“Are you Chinese?”

“???…”

I admit that my English is poor, but I can indeed understand a sentence like this.

“Yes, I am Chinese.”

As a Chinese, I am indeed very proud.

But when I answered, the man seemed extremely angry.

“chinese are garbage, chinese.

its all a swindler

They are all liars)

The man spoke a lot to me, but I didn't understand anything except Chinese.
