Conan and the others stared warily at the masked man, the air seeming to freeze for a moment.
"Who are you?" Conan asked.
The masked man sneered: "You don't need to know who I am. You only need to know that you are about to face an irresistible force."
Ai Haibara calmly analyzed, "Don't listen to his bluff; he must have some weakness."
The masked man seemed to be enraged: "Hmph, then I'll show you!" With that, he pressed a button, and the machine emitted a bright light, spreading out a powerful energy wave.
"Oh no, get out of the way!" Nightshade shouted.
Everyone quickly dodged, but were still knocked to the ground by the energy impact.
"What is this thing?" Ran Mouri asked in surprise as she got up from the ground.
Conan observed the machine and said, "This could be a new type of energy weapon. If he were to use it, the consequences would be unimaginable."
The masked man laughed smugly, "It's too late to be afraid now. This city will be mine!"
Lin Yu stood up and said, "Stop dreaming, we won't let you succeed!"
The masked man pressed the button again, increasing the machine's energy output. The surrounding equipment began to explode, and flames spread.
"We have to find a way to shut this machine down!" Conan shouted.
They searched everywhere for the machine's control mechanism, but the masked man kept hindering them.
Ran Mouri rushed forward to fight the masked man, trying to restrain him.
"Ran, watch out!" Conan shouted.
In the chaos, Ai Haibara discovers a hidden control panel, but it is locked with a combination lock.
"Conan, I found it, but I need the password!" Haibara cried out.
Conan quickly thought, recalling the clues from his previous investigation.
“Try the symbol of the mysterious organization!” Conan said.
Ai Haibara entered the logo of the mysterious organization, and the control panel opened as expected.
"Very good!"
Just as they were about to shut down the machine, the masked man broke free from Ran Mouri's restraints and rushed toward the control panel.
"Stop him!" Conan shouted.
Night Shadow and Lin Yu rushed over and engaged in a fierce struggle with the masked man.
Finally, Conan successfully pressed the shut-off button, the machine stopped operating, and the energy fluctuations gradually disappeared.
"It's finally over." Ran Mouri breathed a sigh of relief.
However, the masked man escaped in the chaos.
"We can't let him get away!" Conan chased after him.
They continued their pursuit of the masked man in the woods outside the research institute.
The masked man suddenly turned around, threw a smoke bomb, and disappeared into the smoke.
"Damn it, he got away!" Lin Yu said angrily.
Conan said, "He can't have gone far. We must find him."
They began searching the woods, leaving no stone unturned.

"Stop!" Conan shouted.
The masked man turned around, a maniacal grin spreading across his face: "You're too late! It's all too late!"
