Chapter 43 "The Mysterious Map" (shuhaige.net)

Conan looked at the map and letter in his hand, his heart filled with curiosity and anticipation. After returning home, he immediately told Ran Mouri, Lin Yu, Ai Haibara, and Kogoro Mouri about it.

“This looks like a new challenge,” Kogoro Mouri said, stroking his chin.

Ran Mouri leaned closer to examine the map closely: "But the markings and locations on this map are all unfamiliar. Where should we begin?"

Lin Yu took the map and examined it carefully with a magnifying glass: "Perhaps we can start with these special markings and see if we can find any relevant clues."

Ai Haibara calmly analyzed, "And this letter, perhaps it contains some clues."

After some research, they discovered a mark on the map that seemed to be related to an ancient book. So they began searching for the book in libraries and bookstores.

After several days of searching, Lin Yu finally found the yellowed ancient book in a secluded secondhand bookstore. The book contained some legends and secrets about the locations marked on the map.

"So this place used to be the home of a mysterious tribe, said to possess powerful magic and treasures," Lin Yu said excitedly.

“However, most of these legends lack solid evidence, so we cannot completely believe them,” Ai Haibara cautioned.

"No matter what, we have to go and see," Conan said firmly.

They packed their bags and embarked on their journey to that mysterious location. Along the way, they encountered all sorts of difficulties and challenges.

The inclement weather made their journey difficult; the roads were muddy and impassable for vehicles. They had to get out of the car and continue on foot, carrying heavy backpacks.

“This is absolutely terrible,” Kogoro Mouri complained.

"But we can't give up, everyone keep going!" Conan encouraged everyone.

While crossing a forest, they were attacked by wild animals. A ferocious wild boar charged at them.

Undeterred, Ran Mouri stepped forward and fought the wild boar. With everyone's combined efforts, they finally drove the boar away.

"Xiao Lan, you're so brave!" Lin Yu praised.

After a long journey, they finally arrived at the place marked on the map. It was an ancient and mysterious village, with dilapidated houses and sparse population.

As they entered the village, the villagers looked at them with wary eyes.

"Who are you? Why have you come here?" an elderly villager asked.

Conan stepped forward and said politely, "We're here to find the truth. We've heard there's a secret hidden here."

Upon hearing this, the villagers' faces grew even more somber.

"You shouldn't have come here, leave now!" After saying that, the villagers turned and left.

Conan and his friends were very confused, but they didn't give up. They inquired around the village, hoping to find some useful clues.

Finally, a child whispered to them, "There is an ancient temple behind the village, and you might find what you are looking for there."

Following the child's directions, Conan and his friends arrived at the shrine. The shrine's doors were tightly closed, and a mysterious atmosphere permeated the surroundings.

Kogoro Mouri pushed the door hard, but couldn't open it.

"It seems like this door is sealed by some kind of force," Ai Haibara said.

Just as they were pondering how to enter the temple, a group of mysterious people suddenly appeared and surrounded them.

“You have trespassed into forbidden territory and must be punished!” said the leader.

A fierce conflict is about to break out...
