Chapter 63: Confession to Xun Sheng

Chapter 63: Confession to Xun Sheng

At six o'clock in the morning, the automatic curtains slowly opened with the announcement of a mechanical female voice.

"Good morning, I will now tell you today's weather. The lowest temperature is 27℃ and the highest temperature is 33℃. It may rain all day, so please remember to bring an umbrella..."

Although the air conditioner was very cold, it still made the two people hugging each other in the quilt sweat.

Xun Sheng was the first to open his eyes. The moment he regained consciousness, he felt his arms go numb. He held his head, which was aching from the hangover, and tried to move his arms. The feeling of ants crawling permeated his flesh, and his arms were nailed to the spot, unable to move.

Because he was resting his head on his arm. The head was heavy, pressing down on his muscles, completely blocking blood flow. But his attention was immediately diverted from his numb arm.

There was someone in his bed.

In his sight, it was still his home. In the gray room, Xun Sheng glanced sideways and saw a woman with her head buried in the pillow. He couldn't see her face, and his heart suddenly tightened.

He couldn't remember what happened last night. He stared blankly at the top of the woman's head. He suddenly pulled his arm back and didn't care that the woman's head hit the headboard with a thud. He almost got out of bed as if escaping.

After getting out of bed, he saw his open bathrobe with no clothes underneath. Xun Sheng vaguely remembered that someone had done that to him last night. His face suddenly turned pale, even more exaggerated than that of a woman with thick foundation. He hurriedly tied the belt and turned his gaze to the woman on the bed again.

He was almost fed up with it and wanted to just drag the woman out and throw her out the door, then pack up the quilt and throw it away, or even do a thorough cleaning because he felt really disgusted.

But he couldn't do that. If a woman was not wearing clothes, his eyes would be disgusted.

The woman was startled awake by his movements. She stretched lazily, and her long arms stretched out from under the quilt. She groaned, sat up, and the quilt slipped off, revealing a familiar face.

Xun Sheng stared closely at the face that gradually emerged. The moment he saw it, his anger turned into confusion. He had no idea that this was the morning Xia Cheng had arranged. He hesitantly asked:

"Why are you here?!"

There was still a hint of resentment in his tone. He had drunk too much last night, but Xia Cheng hadn't. A drunk person is like mud. Needless to say, it was obviously impossible for him to carry the person up by himself.

So, Xia Cheng climbed up by herself.

Why did she climb into his bed? When she was wondering, the woman in front of her had already given her the answer.

"Brother...you drank too much last night, and then..."

"I want to hear the truth." Xun Sheng's eyes turned cold, like a sharp sword, cutting Xia Cheng's little thoughts into pieces, but Xia Cheng was prepared.

She bit her lip and looked straight at Xun Sheng.

"Actually, I've liked brother for a long time!"

"I told you to listen to the truth!"

"This is the truth. Brother was drunk last night. Wei Paijin called me and we sent you here together. Then he left and I climbed into Brother's bed. That's because I like Brother!"

Xun Sheng took a few deep breaths and held his waist. He felt very dizzy. He must have heard some dirty words. He suddenly felt his eyes go dark and he was about to fall over.

"Don't talk nonsense, tell the truth."

"I'm telling the truth." Xia Cheng pulled off the quilt, exposing her upper body to the air. Her slender waist, which could be held in one hand, was covered with bruises of varying depths.

Xun Sheng felt a chill in his heart. He quickly turned around and pulled the automatically opened curtains. Raindrops were dripping outside the house, and he wished he could take a shower outside.

The memories of last night came flooding back like waves, making him lose his bearings. He stumbled a few steps, and a ridiculous thought came to his mind:

Is he going to be responsible for Xia Cheng?

This thought only appeared for a moment before Xun Sheng threw it out of his mind.

"Put on your clothes!" he yelled with his back turned.

Xia Cheng hesitated and said, "You tore it up."

In fact, she cut it up herself.

Xun Sheng punched the white wall.

"Then cover yourself with the quilt and don't even show your neck."

Xia Cheng lay obediently in the bed.

"I've built it."

Xun Sheng's patience had reached its limit. The veins in his solar plexus were throbbing, and he practically shouted, "Do you know what the hell you're talking about? Do you know we're brother and sister?"

"I know..." Xia Cheng answered as softly as possible. Xun Sheng was not Yu Jingyuan, and she was afraid of angering him and being thrown out.

"Fuck, I'm going crazy." Xun Sheng blurted out a swear word, ruffling his hair into a mess. He was at a loss.

Xia Cheng said softly: "Brother, I really like you."

"Like me?" Xun Sheng sneered and looked straight into those eyes. He actually felt sorry for her before, which was really wrong.

"Next time before you say you like me, look in the mirror and see what your eyes look like. If you don't say it, it will look like you really hate me."

"I hate you?" Xia Cheng tilted her head, tears welling up in her deer-like eyes, blocking the uncontrollable disgust, and complained in a tearful voice:

"It's obviously my brother who has always hated me! He has always treated Xun Mo as his sister and never looked me in the eye. I really like my brother and want to be closer to him!"

"Lying on the same bed is intimacy? Xia Cheng, are you really stupid or just pretending to be stupid? Don't you know the boundaries between siblings!?"

"You don't treat me as your sister, so I can't treat you as your brother." Xia Cheng's body trembled violently, and she seemed to gather great courage before she said:

"Of course I know what it means to lie on the same bed. My love for you is between a man and a woman, otherwise I wouldn't have helped you do that last night."

It would have been fine if he hadn't mentioned it, but once he did, Xun Sheng became furious again. However, this anger also contained a lot of resentment towards himself.

Last night, if he had recognized that it was Xia Cheng earlier... No, he seemed to have recognized her, but the result did not change at all. Yes, he never treated Xia Cheng as a sister, he always treated her as a woman!

A sigh helplessly wrapped around his head, and Xun Sheng felt heavy.

"It's all my fault..."

Xia Cheng stood up from the quilt with a rustling sound.

She came forward naked, wrapped only in a small blanket on the bed, got out of bed and hugged Xun Sheng's waist.

"Xun Sheng, I really like you."

This time, she did not call him brother as a solemn confession.
