Lu Rang frowned, hung up immediately, and then received another text message.
The doctor has come to treat my mother, thank you. But I have something else I need to talk to you about. Can we talk alone? Just ten minutes will do.
Lu Rang looked at the text message and replied with two words after a moment.

After dropping Shang Wu off, Lu Rang found some time to call back while shopping at a convenience store.
As soon as the call connected, Shang Yun Shen breathed a sigh of relief.
"I thought you were just making me wait to brush me off and that you didn't want to talk to me."
