Upon hearing that the person who had come was Lu Rang, Ye Songming immediately stood up and straightened his Tang suit.
"Quickly, invite them in."
Lu Rang followed the maid in and looked down to see that the tea on the table was still steaming.
He remained expressionless and nodded slightly to Ye Songming.
"Old sir."
"Come here, come here! What brings you here today? It's quite a surprise. I just saw a young lady from the merchant's family leave, and here you are again!" Ye Songming teased with a smile.
Lu Rang's eyes darkened slightly as he sat down opposite Shang Wu and watched as the servant took away the cup of tea that Shang Wu hadn't drunk.
"I'm here for the same reason. I want to ask Mr. Ye to step in and agree to all of Shang Wu's requests."
His casual remark stunned everyone.
Ye Songming stared at him in astonishment, never expecting that his arrival here was related to Shang Wu.
He was shocked, wondering when Lu Rang had met Shang Wu.
Moreover, judging from Lu Rang's tone, it was as if he knew what Shang Wu was doing and even wanted to get involved.

Ye Songming was filled with doubt and uncertainty, but he didn't know how to answer.

Shang Wu could hardly believe her ears.
