Chapter 59 Three Rules

Shang Wu didn't want to force the issue, but she had no choice but to rely on her father's past friendship with Mr. Ye.

She was all alone and didn't have many connections to rely on.

If she could get the Ye family's help, she would naturally be more than happy to do so, but if she couldn't, she would look for other ways.

In this era, self-preservation is what every group needs to do.

Although she didn't understand why, Mr. Ye suddenly relented and immediately sent Ye Shijie over to help.

She will remember this favor and will definitely find a way to repay it in the future.

Ye Shijie smiled nonchalantly: "I know you are cautious and meticulous by nature. You used to be your parents' little darling. Since you want to join forces with me to set up a scheme, you must have come up with a perfect plan, right? Otherwise, you wouldn't have rashly pulled me into the operation."

"Tell me, what are you planning to do?"

His eyes were full of admiration for Shang Wu.

Shang Wu composed herself and realized that Ye Shijie had made thorough preparations before agreeing to cooperate with her this time.

No matter what risks she declares in advance, Yip Sai-kit will not waver in the slightest.

It's as if someone is putting pressure on the Ye family from behind, demanding that they cooperate and obey unconditionally.

Shang Wu composed herself and immediately informed Ye Shijie of the next steps in the plan.

After listening, Yip Sai-kit immediately stood up and shook hands with her.

"Then I wish us a pleasant cooperation. I will release the news on my end, and everything is up to you to take the next step."

Shang Wu nodded, her eyes filled with gratitude.

"Thank you, Brother Ye, thank you, sir. I will never forget your kindness after I have accomplished this."

Yip Sai-kit smiled meaningfully.

"Actually, it's not just us helping you; you have many benefactors behind you. You're not fighting hard all by yourself."

Shang Wu frowned slightly: "Brother Ye, what do you mean by this? I feel like you're hinting at someone."

"You'll see later. If someone doesn't want to reveal their name, it's not convenient for me to say more."

Ye Shijie kept everyone in suspense, then turned and left.

Shang Wu watched his figure disappear into the distance, when suddenly a large, smiling face appeared before her eyes.

Aying leaned closer and winked at her.

"Mr. Shang, did you call me by the wrong number last night? Why did I see a missed call with only one ring when I woke up this morning?"

When Shang Wu heard her mention this, she was caught off guard by what had happened last night, and her eyes showed a hint of disgust and rejection.

She said calmly, "I dialed the wrong number."

Shang Wu turned around and sat down at the table.

A staff member then pushed the door open and came in, nodding.

"Miss, a woman has come outside. She says she wants to see you and has some work to discuss with you."

woman?

Shang Wu looked up at A Ying with a puzzled expression.

Ah Ying quickly went out to check.

The next second, her scream pierced the entire studio.

"Slumber? It's you?!"

Shang Wu paused, got up and went out, and saw Chen Mian covering her stomach with one hand, looking around the branch with an unbridled arrogance and naturalness, as if she had come to her own home.

She walked over cautiously.

What are you doing here?

Chenmian smiled faintly: "What, have you lost your memory? You sent me that kind of text message last night, and now you're pretending you don't remember?"

Shang Wu certainly remembered what happened last night.

She sent a text message to Chenmian, provoking her, in order to make her contact Zhou Yanci as soon as possible and get the person away.

But after a whole night, there was still no movement from the deep sleep.

She really didn't understand. Now that Chen Mian was pregnant, shouldn't she be even more aware of the crisis?

As Shang Wu was thinking, Chen Mian had already turned around and sat down.

"You must be wondering why I wasn't worried at all last night, even though I knew Ah Ci was with you and slept with you, right?"

Shang Wu looked up at her, clenching her fists.

As Chenmian met her icy gaze, she smiled.

"That's because Ah Ci and I have already made a three-point agreement regarding your matter."

Shang Wu narrowed her eyes: "What did you two agree to?"

Chenmian smiled almost cruelly as she placed an agreement in front of Shang Wu.

"This is what Ah Ci is going to sign for you. I'll give it to you now so you can take your time to look at it."

She revealed a gleeful expression, as if she wanted to see Shang Wu despair.
