The man in black ignored Shang Wu, but when he saw her, his already cold and stern expression became even more solemn.
He walked in.
Lu Rang narrowed his eyes slightly: "What are you doing here?"
The man in black replied, "Please pass on a message to the gentleman: if you insist on meddling in the messy affairs of certain families and refuse to go home unless you listen to others, you will no longer need to go to Hanyuan to pay your respects at this time of year."
As soon as he finished speaking, Lu Rang's expression turned completely cold.
He walked up to Qianjue, his expression calm, and stared at her, exuding an overwhelming sense of pressure.
Qianjue couldn't help but lower her head, her forehead already damp with cold sweat.
Even so, he gritted his teeth and looked at Lu Rang with an unyielding gaze.
"This is not my intention, but the master's order. If you can avoid setting foot in Hanyuan again, then continue to wade into these muddy waters. No one will care about you."
As he spoke, he glanced at Shang Wu and then looked away.
"Some things that seem like a sure thing may hide a lot of dangers. You may seem like someone's right-hand man, but little do you know that they are dragging you down to hell."
Shang Wu was completely bewildered.
After listening to the man's words, she felt, whether it was a misperception or not, that he was referring to the Shang family case.
Isn't Lu Rang her right-hand man now?
Shang Wu frowned slightly, not understanding the other party's identity, and did not interrupt rashly.
Lu Rang grabbed Qian Jue by the collar and pulled him in front of him, his dark eyes filled with an unyielding coldness.
"My affairs are none of your business. So what if I don't set foot in Hanyuan? None of you can control me."
A crack finally appeared on Qianjue's ever-present calm expression.
"Are you crazy? You don't even care about Hanyuan anymore?"
Lu Rang scoffed, "Do you think Hanyuan was built for the dead? No, it was built for you, to save face, to cover your shame."
Qianjue was speechless, her body stiff.
Faced with Lu Rang's cold and sharp gaze, he finally gave in.
"Say what you will, but if you are truly prepared, I will report to the master that you are not allowed to step into Hanyuan."
Lu Rang shook him off: "Get lost."
Qianjue was pushed back a step by him and put down the black wooden box in her hand.
Shang Wu discovered that this was exactly the same box that Qian Jue had that night.
"This is the last one. You'd better watch yourself. The master said that from now on, no matter how hard you risk your life outside, he won't care anymore."
After saying that, Qianjue left without looking back and slammed the door shut.
Shang Wu didn't understand what was going on. Seeing that Lu Rang's expression, which had just calmed down, turned cold again, she went over and sat down next to him.
She gazed at Lu Rang quietly.
Lu Rangze stared at the black wooden box, pursing his lips and remaining silent.
Shang Wu then got up, intending to pour him a glass of water.

Lu Rang looked up at her.
He pleaded, "Don't go."
Shang Wu could no longer move an inch.
These two words seem to possess a magical power.
She didn't leave again, but just sat quietly with Lu Rang.
I don't know when, but the doorbell rang again.
Upon hearing the voice of the deliveryman, Lu Rang slowly released Shang Wu and stood up.
"I'll go, you rest." Shang Wu went out, took the nutritious meal delivered by the deliveryman, and placed it in front of Lu Rang.
Lu Rang gently shook his head: "You haven't eaten yet, you eat."
"I don't eat much at night, you eat first. You must not have eaten properly for the past three days." Without saying another word, Shang Wu took apart the chopsticks and handed them to him.
Facing her assertive gaze, Lu Rang finally accepted the chopsticks.

Shang Wu's expression was complicated. She mustered her courage and asked, "Who is this person? Is he related to you? I think he came to see you last time when you had an alcohol allergy."
Lu Rang paused slightly, but this time he did not change the subject.
"Qianjue, work for my household and manage everyone from the butler to the servants."
Upon hearing his words, a hint of surprise flashed in Shang Wu's eyes.
She hadn't expected that Lu Rang's background was so extraordinary; perhaps he came from a powerful family.
Previously, their family only had one housekeeper and one team of servants.
If there are people above the butler, how big must that family be?
Lu Rang has never revealed his background.
