Chapter 92 Zhou Yanci saw the photo

The implication was that they still wanted Shang Wu to work for them and earn money.

Shang Wu shrugged and said helplessly, "Have you all forgotten? This position of president is originally just a title; I am the acting president."

The word "agent" is not a formal professional title.

Her position is illegitimate and it doesn't sound good to others.

The shareholders understood her meaning and said one after another, "Then let's make you the president. After you get married, it doesn't matter who you or Zhou Yanci do it. The money you earn will belong to you both. Besides, you hold company shares now, so you are the most suitable person to be the president."

Shang Wu's eyes flickered, and she lowered her head thoughtfully.

After a few seconds, she looked up and chuckled, "Well then, I'll draft an agreement. If the board of directors unanimously approves me as president, then I'll officially take charge of the company. Everyone, please consider it carefully, and we'll sign the agreement at the end of the month."

Several shareholders said there was no need to consider it; they could just make her a permanent employee.

However, some people who were close to Zhou Yanci hesitated upon hearing this.

Shang Wu thought it was normal.

Zhou Yanci's departure does not mean that his influence has completely disappeared from the company.

However, shareholders are driven by profit, and she doesn't believe that if she gives them more incentives, those who support Zhou Yanci won't turn around and support her instead.

Shang Wu closed her laptop and stretched.

Xiao Dong came in to bring her water: "Zhou Yanci just called and asked if you were at the company, if you were working overtime, and what time you would be home."

Shang Wu paused for a moment: "What is he going to do?"

Xiao Dong said, "He's probably waiting for you at your house."

Shang Wu replied without hesitation, "Impossible, he doesn't know the password to my door lock."

"Mr. Shang, are you confused? Your parents are still home, you can open the door for them," Xiao Dong replied.

Shang Wu was stunned for a moment, then her expression changed.

She immediately picked up her bag.

"Help me tidy up my office, I'm going home now."

After saying that, Shang Wu hurriedly went downstairs, her heart sinking.

Her father had already guessed that the merchant's case was related to Zhou Yanci, and he also knew that she was currently enduring it.

The mother also learned that Zhou Yanci had a child with another woman and had let her down.

Therefore, fearing that her parents' attitude would give them away, she kept preventing Zhou Yanci from meeting with them.

Unexpectedly, Zhou Yanci still managed to sneak over while she was away.

Fearing that his parents might say something suspicious, Shang Wu rushed home as fast as he could.

She entered the password, opened the door, and went inside. She immediately saw Zhou Yanci sitting on the sofa in the living room.

Shang Wu looked around, her heart tightening: "Where are my parents?"

Zhou Yanci looked up, stared at her intently, and said expressionlessly, "The two elders are tired and are resting upstairs."

Shang Wu's eyes flickered as she glanced at the tightly closed door on the second floor, knowing that her parents didn't want to talk to Zhou Yanci and were deliberately avoiding her.

She secretly breathed a sigh of relief and said calmly, "Why didn't you tell me you were coming to my house?"

Zhou Yanci leaned back on the sofa, her voice laced with suppressed anger: "Now doesn't seem like the time to talk about this. I have something else to ask you."

Shang Wu paused for a moment: "What is it?"

"How come there are men's clothes and a men's scarf in your bedroom closet?" Zhou Yanci asked.

Shang Wu felt a slight pang in her heart, but walked over nonchalantly and poured herself a cup of tea: "It's Lu Rang's. A few times when I went out on business with him, his clothes were left in the car. I took them home, washed them, and planned to give them to him when I had the chance, but I kept forgetting about them."

She brought the teacup to her lips, and just as she was about to drink, Zhou Yanci nodded.

"Okay, a perfectly reasonable excuse."

Shang Wu frowned: "An excuse? Do you think there's something between me and Lu Rang?"

Zhou Yanci looked up, staring intently at her: "You two have nothing going on? You're completely innocent, without any romantic feelings between you two?"

Shang Wu pursed her lips slightly, put down the untouched tea, straightened up, and calmly said, "No."

"Then what is this?"

Zhou Yanci had been waiting for her to say that, so she took the photo out of her pocket and slammed it on the table.

It was similar to the photos Shen Mian had, but taken from a completely different angle.

There are also two photos of her and Lu Rang smiling at each other, which are very ambiguous, and she has never seen them before.

Shang Wu's fingertips curled up.

Zhou Yanci walked up to her and stared intently at her.

"Explain."
