Chapter 8
The world's request
Dongshu suddenly stood up and was about to walk quickly to the door.
Before her feet even touched the floor, she was lifted up by a pair of hands. Fuyuki instinctively struggled, but the struggles of an eight-year-old child were ineffective. Fortunately, she was quickly put back on the bed and covered with a blanket.
"Master Saniwa, be careful not to catch a cold, and don't walk barefoot." A familiar voice rang in my ears.
She looked up and a white-haired, golden-eyed tsukumogami appeared before her. The hazy memories she had left after leaving the chaotic space suddenly became clear at this moment.
It was the strange Tsurumaru Kuninaga that could be seen in the strange space. As Fuyuki's memory became clearer, he suddenly realized that his fever over the past few days must be related to that chaotic space.
While in that time and space, her memory of having a fever was also blurred.
When Fuyuki first met Tsurumaru Kuninaga, he had blood-red eyes. After that, Fuyuki never saw that red again. Just like the Tsurumaru Kuninaga before him, his golden eyes were like a ray of light. At this moment, he had a smile on his face, and his eyes were still as bright as the sun.
"Tsurumaru Kuninaga? How did we get here?"
In her memory, she appeared in the chaotic space as usual, but the huge suction on her back and the sudden change in Tsurumaru Kuninaga's expression became her last impression.
Upon hearing this, Tsurumaru Kuninaga smiled, walked closer to the bedside, bent down to get close to Fuyuki, and straightened up again as Fuyuki leaned back. He tried his best to make his face look serious.
"There's a big shock behind this question!"
"Ahem, is the Master ready to be startled?"
His unusual expression made Fuyuki almost chuckle, but she tried to suppress her smile and said seriously, "Of course."
Through Tsurumaru Kuninaga's narration, Fuyuki learned about some new things, such as the World Rift, the Derivative World, and the Time-Space Vortex, all of which were things Fuyuki had never known before. It was like a door to a new century opening up to Fuyuki through Tsurumaru Kuninaga's words.
"This world should not have had the Time Retrograde Army, but now I can sense their presence. This pure world has been discovered by the Time Retrograde Army."
"The world took the initiative to bring you here, who was caught in the middle of the world. I guess the world is asking you for help."
"Master Saniwa, what are your thoughts?"
Gold meets ink, and the question falls into Fuyuki's hands.
She blinked; it was indeed a big shock. She opened her eyes, closed them again, and found herself in another world. It was quite a fright, no matter how you looked at it.
The last sentence is not only Tsurumaru Kuninaga's question, but also the question that the world wants to ask.
After discovering the Time Travel Army, a kind of garbage that it could not clear away on its own, the world was eager to find a cleaner. It knew that in the main world, hundreds of small worlds away, there existed an organization called the Time Government.
But whether it waits to be discovered or actively travels through these hundreds of worlds to seek help, it will take a considerable amount of time, and by then, its past, present, and future will have been ruined beyond recognition.
When it found Fuyuki in a nearby crevice, it was overjoyed. Before it could even turn its mind, which hadn't been used for a long time and didn't even know that mistakes didn't exist, it brought its precious little Saniwa with it. Even when that white thing with a foul aura wanted to come along, it didn't refuse.
Such a powerful Saniwa must be a treasure from that world, yet it brought it here so rudely; it has truly caused a great disaster...
A kitten with light blue fur appeared in front of Fuyuki. It crouched down and lay on Fuyuki's lap, looking at her with its wet, deep blue eyes.
"I'm sorry, Master Saniwa. It was my own decision to bring you here. If you want to go back, I will send you back immediately. But I still want to ask you, Master Saniwa, please help me."
The world expresses its apology and plea, its heart filled with guilt for having done wrong.
Fuyuki sighed: "If you want to contact the government, I will help you. Protecting history is the job of the Saniwa. But I'm sorry, I can't help you eliminate the Time Retrograde Army."
The slight anger that had initially risen from being taken away so casually dissipated. Fuyuki knew his own limitations and didn't want to readily agree to the request, needlessly adding unbearable work to everyone in the citadel who hadn't yet grown up.
She could only comfort the thin, blue kitten in front of her, telling it not to worry, that the government would help it. But to be honest, whether the government could actually conduct cross-world operations was a question she herself didn't know.
The world felt a little sad. Although it was the expected answer, it still left a sense of loss: "Okay, thank you, kind Saniwa-sama. I'll take you back now..."
Before it could finish speaking, a bolt of lightning suddenly flashed across the sky outside the window, followed by a bolt of lightning that struck down, shattering the window frame and illuminating the dark house. In this dim environment, the lightning illuminated every inch of the room, making it brightly lit.
After the lightning struck, Fuyuki noticed that all the tables and chairs in the house were shaking violently.
Through the window, the familiar tip of a blade came into Fuyuki's view, and Tsurumaru Kuninaga beside him gripped the hilt of his sword.
The little blue cat suddenly looked out the window.
The Time Travel Army has appeared.

This pill.
It was early morning.
After knocking on the door repeatedly without success, Kashuu Kiyomitsu said in a helpless tone, "Master, I'm coming in."
As he entered the room, he suddenly sped up when he saw the flat bed.
An unease arose in my heart and continued to spread.
"Owner?"
Kashuu Kiyomitsu looked around, but the spacious room was completely open, and he did not see that familiar person.
Anxiety flickered in her red eyes as she tried to find that familiar spiritual energy etched into her soul, but this would be ineffective in the Honmaru, which was already filled with the spiritual energy of the Saniwa.
The reason why I subconsciously do such useless work is just because I'm in a hurry.
He forced himself to calm down, just in case his master had simply gone somewhere else in the citadel... He walked out of the house, and in an instant, all the tsukumogami of the citadel began searching for him.
However, even after searching the entire citadel, the Saniwa was still nowhere to be found, which made the Tsukumogami realize that the Saniwa had disappeared!
Thinking of that quiet child, a feeling of worry welled up in my heart.
