Chapter 72 The little girl is angry with him.

Chapter 72 The little girl is angry with him.

Realizing that Li Mushi had no other way out, the Zhuo family used some method to make Meng Shi and Liu Sisi take the blame for everything.

The truth has been turned upside down. Zhuo Yueyue has become their follower, coerced by them. They are the ones who instigated the slander.

The Meng and Liu families could not afford the compensation ordered by the court. Compared to the exorbitant compensation, they could only choose imprisonment. The school took the opportunity to distance itself from the matter and expelled Meng Shi and Liu Sisi. Zhuo Yueyue was given a major demerit and could not make any more mistakes before receiving her graduation certificate.

This outcome is unprecedentedly serious compared to similar cases in the past.

Some people in the know whispered among themselves, saying that the Li family's lawyers were invincible, and that the Li family's president was cold and ruthless. Others said that the Li family's president did nothing wrong; he bore the heavy responsibility of the family and naturally had to cherish his reputation and be responsible for the family and the group.

Zhuo Yueyue was able to be protected because she was not the mastermind and the Zhuo family was wealthy enough.

At the end of that year, the Zhuo family's business suddenly plummeted after the incident subsided.

Zhuo's parents were baffled. After calming down and thinking it over, they had suspicions, but no evidence.

They couldn't even understand why someone as prominent as Li Mushi would pursue them so relentlessly over such a trivial matter. Zhuo Yueyue had already learned her lesson, so why was she now targeting the Zhuo family?

But they didn't have time to figure it out; business matters were enough to overwhelm them.

Jing Ge was discharged from the hospital on New Year's Day.

During my hospital stay, Jing Beile and Sheng Man took turns visiting me.

Jing's parents had no idea from the beginning to the end.

As soon as he was discharged from the hospital, Jing Ge returned to the company. No matter how much Mei Ying and Xiao Zhang pressed him for answers, Jing Ge remained silent.

He seemed much more depressed.

He's stopped talking.

Sheng Man gave her a new car, but Jing Ge refused it. She had gone to Xi Zhen for an evaluation, and given her current mental state, she was not suitable to drive alone.

On the last container of the year, Jingge got angry with the factory: "My container is for tomorrow, and you're telling me today that there's no stock? What am I supposed to put in it, you?"

I don't know what the other person said.

Jing Ge: "I don't believe you. Did you give the goods to someone else? I don't care, you have to give me one for every one you have... You wait, I'm going to your factory to take them right now!"

Amanda rubbed her head: "If the volume isn't enough, just use the few cubic meters left over from last time, modify the data, and send an email to the client explaining..."

“No way,” Jing Ge contacted the warehouse quality inspector. “This boss is doing it on purpose. He can give my goods to others first. It’s obvious that I’m too easy to talk to… Hey, Brother Zhang, come with me to the factory.”

Amanda was both amused and exasperated, and let her go.

There's no other way. Businesses need to retain customers and also keep suppliers on their toes. If you're not ruthless, the suppliers will eat you alive.

Compared to those foreign companies, these manufacturers are actually more difficult to deal with.

Jingge led the quality inspector to the factory in a swift and efficient manner. After giving the boss a long talk, she inspected each piece of work the workers made before sending it to the warehouse.

Just like a cat that protects its kittens.

Nobody can steal her goods.

The boss didn't dare to offend her either, and quietly nudged the quality inspector: "Did Xiao Jing eat a nuclear bomb?"

“You’re not being fair,” Zhang Siming retorted. “Didn’t you see that she has blisters on her lips from the inflammation?”

Boss: "Oh dear, they're pressing me hard over there, so I was thinking, maybe half and half at most."

Zhang Siming: "Stop it. From now on, be 50/50 with others, but be serious with our Xiao Jing. She's ruthless when it comes to work."

"..." The boss winked at him, "You've got your eye on him?"

Zhang Siming coughed lightly: "They probably wouldn't be interested in me."

The boss suddenly raised his voice: "Xiao Jing..."

Jing Ge turned around coldly: "You still have the nerve to call me? You're kidding me! You said you'd eat it if there was any, so come and eat it!"

"......"

never mind.

Never mind.

We dare not provoke them now.

Blow up his factory again.

After the container was safely shipped out, Jingge sat in the empty warehouse, staring blankly at the dust in the air.

The sun was shining on her feet, and her shoes got dirty.

Amanda came to the warehouse to find her: "President Zhang has slipped away early. Will you come with me to the Li Group's annual meeting?"

Jingge lowered his head: "I'm not going."

“…” Amanda patted the invitation in her hand, “There are big stars and delicious food.”

Jingge looked at his disheveled shadow in the sunlight: "Yeah, I'm not going."

“This is work,” Amanda said irritably. “I’m taking all three of you business managers with me. If one of you is missing, people will think I’m targeting you.”

Jingge hesitated for a moment before replying, "Oh, then I'll go."

Amanda laughed in exasperation: "Go change your clothes."

“No,” Jingge patted the dust off his pants. “It’s fine.”

She's not the main character.

Amanda suddenly sighed: "The previous manager earned over 200,000 in commissions in his first year. He's not short of money, is he?"

“I was short,” Jing Ge said honestly, “and paid off my debts as soon as I got my hands on them.”

It hit Li Zhan's card.

Jingge didn't want to owe him a single penny, not even for the medical expenses after hitting his car.

Amanda pointed at the other two business managers: "Learn from them, go back and change your clothes and put on makeup before coming out."

Jingge returned to her dormitory with slumped shoulders.

When I came out, I was still wearing a sweater, jeans, and a down jacket.

Amanda couldn't be bothered with her anymore: "You look the most obedient, but you're actually the least obedient."

The other two burst into laughter.

The New Year atmosphere was strong, and the streets were crowded. People carrying suitcases stood on escalators to cross the overpass, and across the way was the train station, which could send travelers from all directions back to their hometowns.

When the heart has no place to rest, everywhere is a place of wandering.

This sentence popped into Jing Ge's mind as if by some strange twist of fate.

It was a personal signature of one of my roommates in college.

“The sky is so heavy,” one of the business managers said. “It’s probably going to snow.”

"Then I have to leave early. Didn't they say in Korean dramas that you should be with the person you love most on the first snow?"

A breeze blew, making a soft rustling sound on the glass window.

Sure enough, it started snowing.

When they arrived at the Li family's residence, the ground was already covered with a thin layer of fluffy white snow.

A black car stopped next to theirs.

Amanda smiled broadly: "Mr. Li, it's been a long time."

Snowflakes filled the sky, blurring the world in sight. A man who had just stepped out of the car, wearing a black overcoat, had the air of a traditional Chinese ink painting. The melting snow on his eyebrows and eyes resembled a delicate stroke in a fine brush painting, beautiful yet possessing an indescribable charm.

"Long time no see," Li Mushi nodded. "Thank you for coming."

The other two business managers followed suit, greeting, "Hello, Mr. Li."

Li Mushi greeted them politely, "Hello."

Jing Ge greeted them, "Hello, President Li."

“…” Li Mushi’s moist brows furrowed slightly as he focused his gaze on her for a moment.

The girl was wrapped in a warm down jacket, and she didn't feel cold even after the snow fell. When she greeted him, her eyelashes were lowered, and she didn't look at him at all.

An idea popped into Li Mushi's mind—

The little girl is angry with him.
