Chapter 3 I Will Ignore You
The small apartment rented by Ning Changyue was not far from the community where Yin Jiu lived. The two of them had a casual meal outside and then drove to Ning Changyue's home.
The single apartment has one bedroom, one kitchen and one bathroom, with only the most basic furniture: a bed and a set of desks and chairs.
It was obvious that the house did not have many signs of life. After all, Ning Changyue had only lived there for half a month. He didn't even have a quilt, and his clothes were still packed in a travel bag.
There were too few things, and it probably took no more than five minutes to pack. I put the clothes that were exposed to the sun into the travel bag, two pairs of shoes into the bag, and a smaller backpack to hold important items such as documents. Apart from that, there was nothing else.
Originally, Yin Jiu was thinking of coming over today to get some clothes to change into. Even if they were living together, Ning Changyue could keep his own little base for now. As for whether or not to completely cut off his retreat, he should leave him some room to observe.
But now Ning Changyue packed up all her things and went to him in a neat and clean manner.
Although he himself did not have much, it also showed that this place was just a temporary place for him and he could abandon it at any time.
Is he so confident that he thinks I will take his bait?
This idea is a bit unbelievable. Yin Jiu doesn't think that he is the type who can be easily eaten to death, so Ning Changyue, where does your confidence come from?
Yin Jiu leaned against the door with his hands in his pockets, raised his eyebrows and looked at Ning Changyue. When he saw someone coming over, he asked, "Are you done packing?"
Ning Changyue said "hmm".
Yin Jiu added: "Are you sure you didn't miss anything?"
Ning Changyue replied: "No."
Yin Jiu confirmed with him again, his tone questioning: "Are you sure you won't come back?"
Ning Changyue turned her head to look at him, her eyes revealing a questioning tone of "Are you asking nonsense?"
"Okay." Yin Jiu reached out and took the travel bag and put it on his shoulder. He held his wrist and walked out. Standing in front of the elevator, he discussed with him: "Give me your landlord's contact information when you get back. I will discuss the termination of the lease with him."
Ning Changyue was puzzled: "Can I still withdraw?"
Yin Jiu said: "Why can't we just retreat?"
Ning Changyue recalled what the landlord said and said, "The landlord said that if the contract is breached, the rent will not be refunded."
Moving out early is also considered a breach of contract.
Yin Jiusheng sighed, "As expected." He asked Ning Changyue to give him the contact information so that he could contact her in person, because he was afraid that this kid was too straightforward. "How many months' rent have you paid? How much is the deposit?"
Ning Changyue said: "Three months' rent and one month's deposit."
"Deposit one and pay three? Then no deposit is required, and you should be able to get two months' rent back." Yin Jiu said this and saw that Ning Changyue's expression did not change.
It seems that he doesn't really care whether he can retreat or not.
This made Yin Jiu slightly modify his judgment of his character. It seemed that this kid was not stupid or gullible, but he really didn't care about these things.
Maybe he knew that he was being deceived, but so what? Unimportant people and unimportant things were not worth thinking about.
Not sure if his judgment was correct, Yin Jiu asked tentatively: "Ning Changyue, are you sad that your aunt didn't believe you last time?"
"Sad?" Ning Changyue repeated the two words, as if pondering the meaning of the two words. Then he shook his head and added two more words: "Angry."
"What if I don't believe you?" In fact, Yin Jiu just asked casually.
As a result, Ning Changyue seemed to have really recalled the scene in his mind. His expression changed a little, and he looked at Yin Jiu coldly, with a look of arrogance and judgment in his eyes. Not only that, he used force on his wrist to try to shake off Yin Jiu's hand.
Yin Jiu tightened his fingers and laughed, "No, I just asked you that, why did you really put yourself in my shoes?"
After struggling for several times without success, Ning Changyue issued her most powerful threat, coldly declaring: "I will ignore you."
That's it? This is his ultimate killer move?
Yin Jiu was really amused by him. He tilted his head and laughed for a long time, and a hoarse laugh came out of his chest shaking.
When he's not smiling, he looks aloof, but when he smiles, he has a seductive and playboyish demeanor. These two different styles are displayed in the same person.
Ning Changyue blinked, feeling that his smile was both annoying and unbearable.
Ning Changyue actually seldom pays attention to people's appearance, but at this moment he thinks that Yin Jiu must be very handsome.
The elevator dinged and stopped on this floor. Yin Jiu stopped laughing and pulled Ning Changyue into the elevator.
Besides them, there were two young girls in the elevator. The girls noticed the movements of the two men's hands, became a little excited, and huddled together to whisper.
Yin Jiu also noticed their inquiring gazes, but he didn't care.
Fear comes from the inability to control one's destiny. He is confident that no matter what external factors occur, he has the ability to ensure a comfortable life, so the only thing he cares about is Ning Changyue's opinion.
Shaking his wrist, Yin Jiu leaned over to Ning Changyue's ear and whispered, "Do you mind? Do you need me to let go?"
The warm breath blew on his ears, Ning Changyue turned his head away, looking thoughtful, his eyes slightly bright, showing a bit of interest.
He looked completely oblivious, as if he hadn't paid any attention to what Yin Jiu had just said.
Yin Jiu did not let go, he seemed to understand Ning Changyue a little better.
At least, Ning Changyue is not someone who cares about what others think.
Good.
…
After the two got home, they took their third bath of the day. When they came out of the bathroom, Ning Changyue had a sour look on his face.
Yin Jiu didn't dare to provoke him again. He blew his hair gently and then helped him to organize his things.
Ning Changyue had so few things that Yin Jiu didn't need to bother making room for them. There were still a lot of empty spaces in the shoe cabinet at the entrance, so two more or two less pairs wouldn't make much difference.
As for the wardrobe, giving him half of it would not affect Yin Jiu's use. There were several empty small cabinets, enough for him to use.
His stuff was added like a small splash on the lake, without leaving much of a trace.
Yin Jiu thought about giving him some more things, but he was not sure whether Ning Changyue would agree, so he decided to take it slow.
After the clothes and shoes were put away, Yin Jiu saw that Ning Changyue did not take out the things in the small backpack, so he pointed to the bedside cabinet on the right and said to him, "You can put important items like documents here. I usually sleep on the left side, so you can use the one on the right."
The bedside cabinet has many layers and can store many things in different categories.
Ning Changyue took a look and took out the things from her backpack.
But the backpack that looked bulging actually only contained a mooncake box, which Yin Jiu felt looked familiar.
For a moment, a complicated and indescribable feeling came over me.
When Yin Jiu first met him, he was always alone, but after the Mid-Autumn Festival, when Yin Jiu saw him again, he was always carrying this backpack on his back.
After he put it away, Yin Jiuyin tried to make small talk: "It's still early, do you want to play some games or watch some TV?"
Ning Changyue shook her head and said, "I'm sleepy."
"Then go to sleep." Yin Jiu didn't force it.
While Yin Jiu was still thinking about whether to add another quilt to the bed, Ning Changyue had already gone to the study. After a while, she came out holding the blanket on the rocking chair.
Then I used the cushion as a pillow, sank into the soft sofa, covered myself with a small blanket, and closed my eyes comfortably.
It gives people a very easy-going feeling.
But Yin Jiu vaguely sensed something was wrong.
