Under the cold white light, the girl's weak and pale face looked even more fragile. Her bright and watery eyes looked pitiful, with a faint redness around them. Her skin was delicate and snow-white, but her neck turned sickly red from just a few coughs.
The tabby cat was somewhat confused. At that moment, it wondered if it had misunderstood the human girl in front of it.
After all, she wasn't the one who abused it; she even brought it to the hospital for treatment.

Blood dripped down the back of her hand onto the hospital cabinet.
The tabby cat hunched over in the corner, its emerald green eyes momentarily turning sinister and regretful, but quickly returning to their usual uneasy and wary gaze as it stared at Yuan Jiang.
It hurt her.
She probably can't keep up the pretense any longer and will start to abuse it like a bad woman, right?
The tabby cat was tense all over.
"Do you hate me that much?" Yuan Jiang silently looked at the back of her hand covered in blood, her tear-filled eyes showing a hurt expression.
The tabby cat was almost holding her breath, a feeling of regret spreading in her chest. Was she going to cry?
Yuan Jiang's expression fell, and she stopped talking. After closing the hospital cabinet, she turned and left.
The door slammed shut, and the tabby cat's eyes swirled with dark, unfathomable emotions. Its head drooped irritably, and it emitted a cool, soft meow.
"Yuan Jiang, was your hand scratched by a tabby cat? If so, you need to get vaccinated." Seeing Yuan Jiang pick up her umbrella and about to leave, He Li hurriedly stopped her, his dark gaze falling on the girl's still bleeding hand.
Yuan Jiang lowered her head, her expression indistinct: "Go ahead and fight."
"Come with me."
