Chapter 118 Northern Ruins

"This is it." Lu Zhaoming picked up a piece of ore, examined it carefully, and a satisfied smile appeared on his face.

However, just as he was preparing to leave, his communicator suddenly rang, and Qinglian's anxious voice came through.

"Lu Zhaoming, the situation is urgent! Chi Xiao has noticed our movements and has dispatched new reinforcements, who are on their way to the ruins!"

"What?" Lu Zhaoming's expression changed. He hadn't expected Chi Xiao to react so quickly.

"Looks like we've really messed up this time." Lu Zhaoming took a deep breath and quickly adjusted his strategy.

He collected all the rare metals, then activated Judgment Storm and blasted it fiercely towards the entrance of the ruins.

With a deafening roar, the entrance to the entire ruins was completely destroyed, turning it into a wasteland.

"Want to chase me? Maybe in your next life!" Lu Zhaoming sneered, then turned and ran deeper into the ruins.

He had to leave quickly, otherwise the consequences would be unimaginable if he were surrounded by Red Owl's reinforcements.

"Lu Zhaoming, what do we do next?" Qinglian's voice came again, tinged with worry.

As Lu Zhaoming ran, he calmly said, "Retreat immediately. Don't engage the enemy head-on. Remember, our primary task is to protect ourselves."

He tossed the piece of ore, which emitted a faint blue light, to the blacksmith, his voice tinged with weariness: "Old buddy, it's all up to you now. Hurry up, this thing is what will turn the dagger into a lightsaber!"

The blacksmith took the ore, his eyes shining as if he were seeing a stunning beauty: "Don't worry, leave it to me! I'll forge you into a weapon capable of slaying gods!"

Before he could finish speaking, a cold, mechanical voice suddenly rang in Lu Zhaoming's mind: "Urgent mission: The host must defeat Crimson Owl within 48 hours. If the mission fails, the Judgment System will be forcibly shut down."

Lu Zhaoming instantly felt as if he had been doused with a bucket of ice water, chilled to the bone.

He clenched his fists, his knuckles cracking, his eyes blazing as if he wanted to set the air in his face ablaze: "Looks like even the heavens don't want me to be idle! Chi Xiao, this time it's either you or me who dies!" He turned to Su Li and Qing Lian and said, "Get ready, we need to send Chi Xiao on his way ahead of schedule."

Just then, Lu Zhaoming returned to the stronghold and discovered that Liu Feng's condition seemed to have improved considerably.

Su Li looked at Liu Feng, then at Lu Zhaoming, a meaningful smile playing on her lips, and slowly said:
