The atmosphere instantly shifted from the oppressive and sorrowful mood to a tense standoff with swords drawn.
Liu Feng's crying stopped abruptly, his face drained of color, leaving only terror.
Brother Mouse and his gang were so scared they almost wet their pants, and they huddled even tighter behind their cover.
Lu Zhaoming, however, showed no panic at all in the face of this sudden encirclement. Instead, a playful sneer curled at the corner of his mouth, and his eyes, well, they were filled with that kind of excitement that said, "Oh wow, the big one is coming."
He lazily glanced at the mercenaries who had surrounded him, his gaze finally settling on Big Bear's fierce-looking face. He spoke slowly, his voice not loud, but clearly reaching everyone's ears: "Oh, everyone's here? Looks like the real show at this wasteland party has only just begun."
