Chapter 89 The Hunting Game

"It's an infected person!" someone shouted in terror.

That's right, it was Mad Dog's army of infected.

They received orders from Red Wolf to flank the enemy, but unexpectedly encountered Lu Zhaoming and his men.

Mad Dog stood among the infected, his gaze fixed coldly on Red Wolf.

He grinned, revealing a set of sharp teeth, and let out a low growl.

"Red Wolf, how dare you use us!" Mad Dog's voice was hoarse and filled with rage. "Today, I will make you pay the price!"

After saying that, Mad Dog commanded the infected to launch a frenzied attack on the white-robed soldiers.

The white-robed soldiers, already caught off guard by Lu Zhaoming and his men, were now attacked by the infected, throwing them into chaos and causing heavy casualties.

Looking at the chaotic scene before him, Lu Zhaoming sneered, "It seems they've started fighting amongst themselves without me even having to lift a finger!"

Red Wolf was tightly entangled by the mad dog and had no time to pay attention to Lu Zhaoming.

He fought back fiercely, roaring, "Mad dog, are you insane? We're allies!"

"Allies?" Mad Dog sneered disdainfully. "You White Robe Army don't even consider us human! Today, I'll show you who the real masters of this wasteland are!"

The two forces clashed, creating a chaotic scene.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Lu Zhaoming quietly left the battlefield with Liu Yan.

"Zhaoming, where are we going now?" Liu Yan asked breathlessly.

Lu Zhaoming stopped and glanced back at the chaotic battlefield, a hint of seriousness flashing in his eyes: "This battle has only just begun..."

He turned around and walked away into the distance, leaving behind a suspenseful silhouette.

Suddenly, Lu Zhaoming stopped in his tracks. He slowly turned his head, a meaningful smile playing on his lips: "However, before that, we have some old friends to visit."

Although he had temporarily escaped the pursuit of Red Wolf and his gang, Lu Zhaoming's sense of crisis grew stronger and stronger, like an inescapable haze.

The sinister threat Red Wolf had made before leaving still echoed in his ears: "You can't escape, because your ally has received a 'special invitation'."

"Special invitation"?

Lu Zhaoming spat. These white-robed soldiers always liked to use words that were hard to understand.

But he knew in his heart that this was definitely not a good omen.

The other party's target is probably not just Lu Zhaoming, but the entire team!

The communicator crackled and popped as Lu Zhaoming crushed it, a ruthless glint in his eyes.

"Looks like these scumbags want to wipe them out completely." He narrowed his eyes, the Doomsday Judgment System running at high speed, various possibilities colliding wildly in his mind.

He had to act quickly and nip all the threats in the bud before those bastards, the Red Wolves, could.

"Liu Yan, we need to speed things up!" Lu Zhaoming's eyes were filled with anxiety, and his voice was low and firm.

He waved his hand forcefully and led Liu Yan as they ran wildly toward the safe house.

The wind whistled past his ears, ruffling his hair, but it couldn't dispel the determination in his eyes.

This time, he wanted to show the Red Wolf gang that the consequences of angering Lu Zhaoming would be far more terrifying than encountering a zombie horde in the apocalypse!

He stopped, glanced back at the receding battlefield, a meaningful smile appearing on his face, and muttered to himself, "Su Li, I hope I can make it in time..."
