Lu Zhaoming covered his mouth and nose; the smell, a mixture of rotting corpses, mold, and an unknown liquid, was enough to make him vomit up his dinner from the night before.

One of the Blood Raven guards, probably finding the smell in the passage too strong, covered his nose and slowly slipped out of the line.
"You're the one!" Lu Zhaoming's eyes turned cold, and he moved closer silently like a ghost.
Before the guard could react, Lu Zhaoming covered his mouth and swiftly and cleanly brought down the knife.

Lu Zhaoming looked Xiao Que up and down, quickly weighing the pros and cons in his mind.
This woman is cunning and not very trustworthy, but the information she possesses is crucial to me.
“Okay, I can agree to that.” Lu Zhaoming finally nodded. “But if you dare to play any tricks, I’ll make you regret ever being born.”
"I promise, I will tell you everything I know," Xiao Que said quickly, afraid that Lu Zhaoming would change his mind.
Next, Xiao Que told Lu Zhaoming in detail about Blood Raven's operation plan, including Iron Hammer's patrol route, Red Owl's hiding place, and even some unknown secrets.
“Their target this time is everyone in the safe house, especially that woman named Su Li,” Xiao Que said in a low voice. “Chi Xiao said that she has an important secret.”
Lu Zhaoming's face turned ashen, and his anger surged.
These bastards actually dared to make a move on Su Li!
"I understand." Lu Zhaoming took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "I will make them pay the price."
With the information provided by Xiao Que, Lu Zhaoming was fully aware of Blood Raven's actions.
He decided to take advantage of the terrain and trap Iron Hammer and his men like turtles in a jar!
He had Little Sparrow hide in the shadows while he quietly crept deeper into the passage to set up a trap.
Lu Zhaoming first found several stone pillars supporting the passage, loosened their bases with a dagger, and then set some tripwires at the corners of the passage. If anyone triggered them, it would cause a small-scale collapse.
"Hehe, now you're in for it!" Lu Zhaoming wiped the sweat from his forehead and looked at his masterpiece with satisfaction.
With everything ready, Lu Zhaoming returned to Xiao Que's side, and the two held their breath, quietly waiting for their prey to arrive.
Not long after, the deafening sound of Iron Hammer's footsteps came again, getting closer and closer.
"Right here!" Lu Zhaoming whispered. "Prepare to move out!"
As Iron Hammer and his men stormed into the passage, Lu Zhaoming decisively pulled the trip rope.
"Boom..."
A violent tremor came, and the top of the passage began to collapse, with countless rubble and dust pouring down, instantly dividing and surrounding Iron Hammer's team.
"Holy crap! What's going on?!" Iron Hammer was startled by the sudden turn of events and quickly swung his hammer at the falling rocks.
Lu Zhaoming seized the opportunity to rush out, using his Eye of Judgment to predict the hammer's movements and skillfully dodge his attacks.
"Iron-headed fool, your death is near!" Lu Zhaoming sneered, his figure flashing like lightning as he circled behind Iron Hammer.
With a roar, Iron Hammer turned and swung his hammer at Lu Zhaoming, but Lu Zhaoming had already anticipated his move. He dodged to the side and kicked Iron Hammer in the back of the knee at the same time.
"Bang!"
Iron Hammer lost his balance and fell to his knees.
