After obtaining their marriage certificate, Lu Linchuan took Su Wantang to a state-run restaurant on his bicycle.
On the way, Lu Linchuan's long arms were around Su Wantang's waist, as if afraid that passing guests would bump into her waist and abdomen.
"What would you like to eat?" Lu Linchuan looked at the food in front of him and then at the woman.
"Sweet and sour pork, and braised lion's head meatballs," Su Wantang said with a light laugh, "I'll just have these two dishes."
"Then I'll also order shredded pork with garlic sauce and cabbage, vermicelli, and meatball soup." After ordering, Lu Linchuan carried a tray in each hand and walked towards the table with Su Wantang.
The man placed the food on the table, took out tissues from his pocket, and gently wiped the seat in front of Su Wantang. After wiping it clean, he helped the woman sit down.
Lu Linchuan picked up a large piece of sweet and sour pork from Su Wantang's plate and placed it in the rice bowl in front of her. "Eat more, you're too thin."

"Yes!" Mr. Lu also came over, holding another marriage certificate and looking at it carefully. The more he looked, the more satisfied he became. "You two are so good-looking, the baby in your belly will be good-looking too!"
"Xiao Tang, do you prefer a boy or a girl?" Lu's mother asked with a smile.
“Boy or girl, it’s fine,” Su Wantang said with a smile, her soft palm gently stroking her lower abdomen. “But I would prefer a boy and a girl, so that we can have a son and a daughter, and be blessed with both.”
"Twins of opposite sexes are wonderful!" Mr. Lu said with a smile. "So many people want twins of opposite sexes, but they don't have that kind of luck! If our Lu family could have twins of opposite sexes, it would be an immense joy!"
"Yes! Boys and girls are the same, I love any child that's yours!" Mrs. Lu said with a smile. "Daughter-in-law, when you're in your late pregnancy and need someone to help you, just write to me and I'll come over to take care of you!"
She can't wait to become a grandmother!
"Okay," Su Wantang said with a light laugh.
"Mom and Dad, my wedding is coming up soon. I plan to take my wife back to the island this afternoon," Lu Linchuan said, sitting on the sofa.
"So fast..." The smile on Lu's mother's face stiffened, and her face was full of regret.
She hadn't had enough of the novelty with her daughter-in-law yet, and now her daughter-in-law had to leave.
"My honeymoon leave, including travel, is only 13 days in total. There's nothing I can do about it," the man said helplessly.
