Fortunately, Willie's worries did not come true, because as soon as he took a step back, the skeleton began to automatically reassemble itself and soon returned to its original form.
But something seems to be missing?
Where are my eyes?
The skeleton began to speak, its voice trailing off with a chilling clatter of teeth.
"Su... host..."
The sound of 888 echoed in his mind. Although it was an emotionless electronic voice, Willie could detect a hint of fear in it.
Have you ever read those kinds of horror stories?
"It's like someone is walking down the street late at night and encounters another person who's bent over as if searching for something..."
"Then he went up to the man and asked what he was looking for. The man, hearing his words, slowly turned around, and what he actually did was—"
"No head!"
"Then he would ask the person if they had seen his head, and if they said no, he would..."
888 swallowed hard before continuing:
"He'll just rip off a passerby's head and put it on himself!!"
As if echoing 888's words, the skeleton turned towards Vili—
Have you ever seen my eyes?
The screams of 888 were blocked, and Willie calmly spread his hands.
"Is this the one you want?"
In his fair hand was a striking black human eyeball!
The skeleton took it with its slender fingers, leaving a cool sensation on Willy's skin.
The next second, it pressed its eyeballs directly into the empty eye sockets!
Despite having no support, the eyeball was firmly fixed in place, and after it was secured, the pupil even rotated flexibly.
The skeleton looked at Vili again.
Thank you.
He shifted slightly and added a form of address.
"beauty."
-
When Ero finally washed away the stubborn bloodstains and returned, he saw his own skeleton chatting happily with his students.
"So you're the ancient skeleton that the mentor recreated. Your agility is almost indistinguishable from that of a real person."
"After all, I haven't been dead for long..." The skeleton scratched the back of its head sheepishly, but since it had no hair, it scratched nothing.
The skeleton ignored him and continued:
"In my memory, it feels like I was still alive yesterday... Haha..."
As he spoke, he glanced at Vili shyly, his skeletal head lowered slightly, revealing a charming air about him.
"That guy actually took you as a student, he's really... getting a good deal!"
"By the way, let me show you around this lab. After all, you're new here and there's still a lot you're not familiar with..."
However, whenever Vili praised something, whether it was a magical artifact or experimental equipment, the skeleton would quickly pick it up and stuff it into his arms.
"You can have it if you like!"
Seeing that he was about to empty his laboratory, Ero finally stepped forward with a dark expression.
What are you doing?
Before Vili could speak, the skeleton spoke first.
“Ero, that’s the thing about you that’s so unlikeable. As a predecessor of necromancy, and also your ancestor, I have some advice for you…”
Vili had never heard of a skeleton speaking so much, and so fluently. He was now beginning to believe that Ero was indeed quite capable.
"Quiet!"
Ero listened to him for a few minutes with a gloomy expression, and finally couldn't bear it any longer. He made a spellcasting gesture, which froze the skeleton in place, and then threw it into a corner.
The skeleton fell to the ground and immediately let out a scream.
"I'm dirty!"
After saying that, he quickly ran towards the washroom, and Vili seemed to understand why he was so fair-skinned.
It seems this is a skeleton with obsessive-compulsive disorder about cleanliness.
"you."
Ero looked at Vili with a cold face, suppressing his anger.
"You come and assist me."
His dissection work wasn't finished yet, so he wanted this young master to experience it firsthand. Necromancy is not a simple matter.
Maybe in a few minutes, he'll run out crying and never dare to mention being his student again.
Ero sneered.
-
His hands were very steady.
The cold, sharp blade held in his well-defined hands was as if he were playing a familiar piano piece as he gently sliced through the monster's body, without spilling a drop of blood.
Ero stared unblinkingly at the snow-white blades dancing in the air, as if he were frozen in place.
How did things develop to this point?
At first, Ero focused on the dissection with his hands, while Vili remained silent.
But when he wanted to change his tools, he found that what he wanted had already been handed to him, as if the other party knew exactly what he wanted to do.
Gradually, he even forgot that there was a living person next to him, and only felt that today's experiment was going better than ever before.
Ero's mood brightened; it seemed that what was originally planned to take a day could be finished ahead of schedule.
Just then, Vili spoke up.
"tutor."
Ero was suddenly interrupted, but considering that the other party had been doing a good job before, he didn't get angry, but just looked over with displeasure.
The silver eye shimmered, appearing particularly cold in the dimly lit room.
Willie bowed his head slightly, looking very respectful.
"Thank you for your demonstration... I think I understand what you've taught me. I'll take care of this simple task for you now."
"If it's just teaching, there's no need for the teacher to demonstrate the whole process; that would be too much trouble for you."
