Chapter 115 Fishing

Fu Zi quickly thought for a moment and then ordered the eunuchs behind her to fetch the fishing gear.

Emperor Jingyuan watched as the Emperor and Empress began fishing, their affection evident. Azi had never fished before, except for a dream that Yimeng had taken her to the river to catch fish in the village. Therefore, she wasn't very good at using a fishing rod, and Emperor Jingcheng was patiently explaining how to use it to her, personally demonstrating it to her several times.

Only when Di Jingcheng turned to look at him did he avert his gaze, tighten his grip on the fishing rod, and with a flick of his wrist, a plump fish emerged from the water, hooked on the silver hook. Fu Zi quickly stepped forward, removed the wriggling fish, and placed it in the bucket behind him.

Azi noticed the commotion and looked on with envy. Then she saw Di Jingyuan catch several big fish in a row. She was extremely distressed, frowning as she looked at the still calm water. Why couldn't she catch any fish?
