Chapter 30 Teacher Xiaoran

Large factories are generally unwilling to adjust their processes for small clients. But with Sister Mi, it's entirely possible.

Qian Lai immediately decided to pre-order a small batch to try it out.

It's not too late to re-quantify the numbers once the retirement home has confirmed the demand.

They paid the deposit and agreed to pick up the goods a week later. The two left Lao Zhang's factory in high spirits. By then, it was getting dark. Hua Rui insisted on taking Qian Lai to the State Guest Hotel for dinner.

Qian Lai actually had Gu Hanchuan on her mind.

She only had time to prepare lunch in the morning. She originally planned to move it directly from her space when she got home in the evening. If she went to have dinner with Hua Rui, Chief Gu would probably have to eat in the canteen.

Seeing her hesitation, Hua Rui quickly added, "The fish fillets made here are absolutely amazing. I've been wanting to take you there to try them for a long time."

What?! Braised fish fillets!

This was the dish that Qian Lai's mother was best at making. It was so delicious that Qian Lai had to try it as soon as he heard the name of it.

Moreover, Hua Rui added, "Come with me, there's a surprise!"

It truly lives up to its reputation as a state banquet-level restaurant in Xinshi.

Qian Lai was surprised to find that this state guesthouse was somewhat similar to the Peace Hotel in Shanghai.

The building has two wings, north and south, with a total of five floors, connected by a corridor in the middle.

The Gothic-style building, adorned with neon lights, and two sightseeing elevators busily transporting guests, stands out prominently on the busiest main street in the new city.

The ornately carved revolving door can accommodate ten people at a time.

The atrium is double-height, with sixteen gilded chandeliers hanging down. Colorful auspicious clouds swirl on the vermilion pillars, and the floor is inlaid with a "Seven Horses" painting carved from a single piece of white marble.

A huge screen stands at the head of the hall, with the four characters "Guobin Hotel" prominently displayed on it, the powerful calligraphy being the work of a great man.

Qian Lai followed Hua Rui all the way up to the second floor.

The second-floor corridor is divided into mortise and tenon carved partitions, with each window separating different private rooms.

Curtains, corridors, doors, windows... every detail and every glance reveals the designer's dedication and the hotel's luxurious decor.

"Do we really need a private room just for the two of us?"

It's clear that Hua Rui is very sincere this time, but Qian Lai doesn't want her friend to spend too much money.

Hua Rui smiled and opened the door to the private room. Inside, a tall and imposing figure immediately stood up to greet her: "You've finally arrived!"
