Chapter 6 Where's the car?

They went to Hu Qinghua's room and took away her wardrobe, which was full of nice clothes. They could keep them to sell after they went to the countryside.

They went back to the house to get their luggage, and took everything from the original owner's house, leaving it completely empty.

After doing all that, she anonymously wrote a letter of complaint, accusing the original owner's mother of misconduct, accusing Hu Jianbang of disrupting military marriage, and demanding a thorough investigation into Hu Liuzhu's birth date.

She set off before dawn and dropped the letter off at the neighborhood office.

Holding the handlebars with one hand and eating the meat buns she had stocked up on over the past two days with the other, she headed to the train station with her packages.

When she arrived at the train station, the station staff weren't surprised that she had arrived so early; there were others who had arrived even earlier.

"Comrade, can I bring my bicycle with me?"

Bicycles are an essential means of transportation, so why should they be given one?

The flight attendant saw that she was carrying a large bundle and a bicycle, and after looking at the letter in her hand, she knew that she was a sent-down youth who planned to go to the countryside to support rural development.

She nodded. People bring all sorts of things on the train, so it's not unusual for her to bring a bicycle.

I just don't know which parents love their daughter so much that they even take her on a bicycle to the countryside.

"You can bring it, just be careful not to block the aisle."

Don't worry!

She brought her bicycle onto the train; not only in their carriage, but on the entire train, there wasn't another one like her.

If these people knew that there was an iron pot or something in the back of her package, they would be even more astonished.

Her strength was a real asset; she simply carried her bicycle and packages onto the train.

A middle-aged man rushed down towards them, and Jiang Wenwan immediately noticed the gleaming knife in his hand.

To encounter such a story at this moment, she immediately swung the handlebars of her bicycle.

He knocked down the person who was rushing towards him.

Behind the middle-aged man followed a tall young man in military uniform.

The young man, tall and masculine, was dressed in a crisp military uniform. His thin lips were slightly pursed on his serious face. He took a few steps forward to catch up with the young man.

They saw that the person had been pinned down by Jiang Wenwan's bicycle, which was being held up by the front wheel and unable to get up.

"You brat, I'm telling you, don't meddle in other people's business. Get out of my way, or I'll make you regret it."

The middle-aged man trapped under the car wheel threatened Jiang Wenwan.

Jiang Wenwan wasn't afraid at all, since she had no ties to anyone.

"With your abilities, how dare you treat me rudely?"

As he spoke, he pressed the bicycle down further, breaking one of his ribs.

The middle-aged man, in pain, threw the knife at her.

The force was quite strong, as if it was about to stab Jiang Wenwan.

She caught the knife handle and turned to stuff it into the bag on the back of her bicycle.

The movements were so fluid and seamless that even the middle-aged man lying on the ground was momentarily stunned.

Not to mention the tall young man who chased after him; his military uniform added ninety-nine points to his score.

He coughed lightly, a smile playing in his eyes, and said in a deep, pleasant voice:

"Thank you for helping me catch the criminal. That knife was his murder weapon. I'll give you an even better one later."

Huh?

He even wants to give me something?

"My name is Jiang Wenwan. May I ask how you should address me, comrade?"

As Jiang Wenwan spoke, she took out a knife from her bundle and handed it over.

She assured everyone that she wasn't lusting after him, but simply admiring him.

"Jiang? Hello Comrade Jiang, my name is Zhou Yunting."

This man stabbed someone in the car just now; thankfully, Comrade Jiang intervened and subdued him.

Jiang Wenwan smiled, revealing a row of small white teeth; this is the benefit of not eating sweets since childhood.

"No need to be polite, I'm about to get on the bus, so you can have this person."

Before she could finish speaking, a young man carrying a middle-aged man covered in blood got off the train.

"Brother Ting, hurry!"

When Jiang Wenwan saw this, she thought, "This won't do."

Open the bicycle ladder and go straight across:

"Comrade, you can't do this!"

You need to stop the bleeding as soon as possible. Carrying him will only stretch the wound, won't it?

The young man paused, then frowned. This girl was rather outgoing, so he became more wary and his expression turned serious.

"You understand this?"

Jiang Wenwan considered that both of them were wearing military uniforms. Although the middle-aged man being carried by the other person was not wearing a military uniform, he did not look like an ordinary person.

"I not only understand, I'm also an expert."

"Put him down quickly, I'll give him an injection to stop the bleeding. Then one of you go find a car, or just carry him horizontally, absolutely do not carry him on your back."

The young man glanced at Zhou Yunting.

Zhou Yunting nodded with a serious expression. He glanced at Jiang Wenwan and felt as if he had seen her somewhere before.

He always felt that Jiang Wenwan gave him a sense of trust.

"Listen to her. Put the person down first, then take the murderer to the police station and call a car while you're at it."

"OK!"

The man was well-trained and didn't waste any time; he grabbed the person on the ground and carried them away.

Jiang Wenwan pretended to take out gold needles from her bundle.

Fortunately, the original owner's grandfather was a scientific researcher, and the original owner's grandmother was a skilled traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.

The two elderly people had long since gone to the island where the military was stationed. She had only seen them once when she was a child, so she was just making excuses.

Later, her mother remarried and wouldn't even let her see them. The old couple sent things to their granddaughter.

But the original owner didn't even see it, let alone know the address, which is simply a problem with the original owner's personality.

If you asked her, she could just run off to an island and shamelessly live with the old couple.

Well, the old couple also have other sons and grandsons, so they might not necessarily care much for her.

"My family has been doctors for generations. You are lucky that I am going to the countryside to build our country."

Help him unbutton his clothes and apply the medicine to his wound.

I'll give him acupuncture to stop the bleeding; his life will definitely be saved.

That wound medicine was a valuable find from her later research; it had a miraculous hemostatic effect.

With her acupuncture treatment, the person's condition was basically stabilized.

Working together, the young man who had gone to report the crime returned after Jiang Wenwan finished acupuncture.

Two men in military uniforms were following behind him, carrying a stretcher.

Jiang Wenwan stood up and carefully put away her golden needles, saying:

"You guys hurry up and get him to the hospital, I'm getting in the car."

"Thank you, Comrade Jiang,"

As Zhou Yunting turned around, Jiang Wenwan had already boarded the train.

She did what she was supposed to do. If she tried to get too close to people, they might think she had ulterior motives, which wouldn't be good.

After boarding the train, she checked her seat and found herself in the last row. She put her bicycle away and stuffed her bag under the seat.

Looking out of the carriage, his figure could still be spotted in the crowd.

He looked away, took out a steamed bun from his lunchbox, ate it, and then closed his eyes to rest.

In reality, it's about immersing one's consciousness in the space, looking at the things inside, and slowly organizing them.

At the Hu family home, Zhang Cuifen woke up in the morning, still a little groggy. She was getting dressed to go out when she suddenly looked back into the house and wondered where the cabinet was.

Where's the table? The cabinet where she kept her money on the kang (heated brick bed), the wardrobe where she hid her money—they're all gone. The room suddenly feels empty.

She stood there in shock for a long time before running away.
