When Ma Debi saw it was him, he rolled his eyes.
"What's it to you?"
Jiang Wenwan kicked him and scolded him:
"Speak properly!"
Then he looked at Zhang Weiguo.
"We were talking about why Hu Zhiqing was suddenly sent back. Although she and I are sisters, we are not born of the same mother."
The Hu family used their connections to get her transferred back, which puts me in a difficult position!
Ma Debi's eyes lit up instantly, and he exchanged a knowing glance with Jiang Wenwan.
"Hey Zhang Weiguo, isn't your dad the brigade leader? You must know what's going on, right?"
Zhang Weiguo really didn't know what was going on. When Ma Debi asked him, he turned to look at Jiang Wenwan, who was also looking at him expectantly.
He paused, then shook his head. "I don't know either."
When he said he didn't know either, Ma Debi rolled his eyes.
"Tch! I thought you knew!"
"I'm leaving now, I'm going back to the educated youth settlement."
As he spoke, he gave Jiang Wenwan a wink, knowing that he was going back to Wang Jianguo to try and extract information from him.
Seeing that Ma Debi had left, Zhang Weiguo scratched his head.
"If you really want to know, I'll go back and ask my dad for you."
Jiang Wenwan genuinely wanted to know, so she nodded without any pretense.
"OK!
If you can find out for me, I'll owe you a favor!
"No, no, it shouldn't be a big deal."
After Zhang Weiguo finished speaking, he glanced at Jiang Wenwan and asked:
"Um, I haven't seen your partner write to you lately, you two..."
Write it for me!
I picked it up when I went to the clinic earlier. They said they were planning to file for marriage and asked if I agreed. Of course I agreed!
Zhang Weiguo forced a smile.
"Really? Well, that's good."
Jiang Wenwan waved her hand to pour out the pig feed before returning to the educated youth settlement.
Ma Debi ran over during his meal at the educated youth settlement.
"You have to give me my meal for free today. I actually found out some useful information."
Hearing him say that, Jiang Wenwan added diced salted pork and a bone broth to the egg fried rice she made for lunch today.
A bowl of each was served and pushed to him.
