Chapter 135 Qin Ye's Jealousy Has Spilled (1/2)

As he spoke, Jiang Xubai suddenly stretched out his hand to Su Tang, revealing a clean and slender hand with distinct knuckles.

"There are some things that are inconvenient to say, so I'll just send them to you directly."

He gestured for Su Tang to place her hand on his.

Su Tang hesitated as she looked at his outstretched palm. She didn't even need to turn around to feel the gaze that seemed to ignite the air from more than ten meters away.

Jiang Xubai noticed her hesitation. He glanced at Qin Ye, who was radiating a low-pressure aura, not far away, and then looked at Su Tang's troubled expression. A mischievous smile appeared on his lips.

"how?"

"Now, even when the two of us are exchanging a message, do we have to avoid suspicion?"

Su Tang cursed inwardly. This guy was still the same as before, full of bad intentions and loved to see others in trouble.

Su Tang hadn't had a chance to answer yet.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the man leaning against the tree in the distance had thrown away the piece of wood he was holding and was walking towards them step by step with a stern face.

Oh no, this is going to be a disaster. She's about to explode with jealousy.

Jiang Xubai saw it too, and he chuckled, "What a persistent fellow."

Just when Qin Ye was still seven or eight meters away from them, Jiang Xubai suddenly moved.

He actually grabbed Su Tang's hand, which was adorned with a ring, and the warm touch of his fingertips covered her skin.

Su Tang froze, feeling a faint warmth emanating from the ring, as an encrypted information stream instantly flooded in.

Information received.

Almost simultaneously, she jerked her hand away from Jiang Xubai as if she had been electrocuted.

The whole process took less than a second.

But in Qin Ye's eyes, who was walking from a distance, it was like a slow-motion scene that had been slowed down countless times.

Jiang Xubai's hand froze in mid-air.

A fleeting hint of melancholy, which even Su Tang hadn't caught, flashed across his eyes. It then transformed into a bitter smile.

"It seems we'll have to say goodbye after just meeting."

Before Su Tang could think further, he suppressed all his emotions, quickly turned around, and strode away with his back to Su Tang.

“You don’t belong here. Lei Zhen knows you’re still alive, and he’ll continue to track you. I’ve modified the return route; you can return 48 hours earlier. Leave as soon as possible; it’s not safe here… You… should go back soon.”

Watching his resolute retreating figure, Su Tang processed the message and subconsciously called out, "Jiang Xubai..."

He paused for a moment, but didn't turn around, leaving only a sentence that was blown away by the wind: "See you next time..."

Before she could finish speaking, a shadow had already fallen over Su Tang.

Qin Ye walked up to her.

He said nothing, just looked at her quietly. His deep eyes were less tender and doting than usual, and more like a bottomless black, like the still sea before a storm, so oppressive that it was hard to breathe.

Su Tang felt flustered under his gaze; she knew he was angry.

And he was extremely, extremely angry.

"Qin Ye, I..." She was about to explain.

Qin Ye suddenly reached out and grabbed her wrist, his movements anything but gentle.

It was the same one that Jiang Xubai had just touched.

"He touched you."

Qin Ye lowered his head, his voice terribly hoarse, "Su Tang, who is he?"

Looking at the man in front of her, who was blinded by jealousy, Su Tang knew that any explanation would be futile at this moment.

He wasn't questioning; he was afraid.

He was afraid that she had a past he knew nothing about, and that in that past, there was another man.

She took a breath, softened her voice, and conveyed a hint of barely perceptible grievance and pain.

"Qin Ye," she said softly, "you're hurting me..."
