"Bai Wei's arm was touched by Su An's finger, and half of her body went numb! I thought she was so powerful."
"Yeah, don't let Bai Wei's strong appearance fool you. When Su An bumped her in the lower back, she fell down on the spot. It seems she's just bragging about how good she is at fighting."
These exaggerated rumors, each one like a knife, repeatedly cut into her already fragile self-esteem.
She went from being the center of everyone's awe to becoming a laughingstock that everyone avoids.
This is worse than killing her!
Three days later, when the doctor announced that she could be discharged, Bai Wei looked even worse than when she had been admitted. Her body may have recovered, but her spirit was on the verge of collapse.
She changed into her training uniform, leaned against the wall, and walked out of the infirmary step by step.
She told herself she had to hold on! She absolutely couldn't let those people look down on her!
She wants to go back to the training ground, back to everyone, to prove that she has not been defeated!
The cafeteria is busiest in the evening.
The trainees, exhausted, sat together, wolfing down their food and laughing loudly, their noise almost lifting the roof off.
But when Bai Wei appeared at the door, the entire cafeteria seemed to have been put on pause.

Her face flushed a deep purplish-red, and her grip on the doorframe tightened involuntarily.
"Hey, what are you looking at? Eat!"
Finally, a male soldier who knew the soldier couldn't stand it any longer and coughed, trying to break the awkward silence.
The atmosphere in the cafeteria eased up a little.
People looked away and lowered their heads again, but suppressed, intermittent snickers surged in from all directions like a tide, drilling into Bai Wei's ears.
"Hey, isn't this Bai Wei? Finished the 'blood circulation and blood stasis removal' treatment?" A shrill voice came from Gao Kai's table not far away.
Gao Kai was carrying a rice bowl filled with three black steamed buns. Li Si, who was next to him, was winking at Bai Wei and saying something in a strange voice.
Gao Kai didn't say anything, but a cold smile appeared on his lips as he stuffed a large mouthful of food into his mouth, chewing it with a crunching sound.
The male soldiers at his table immediately burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! Li Si, you have such a sharp tongue!"
"What blood-activating and stasis-removing stuff? That's called 'balloon therapy'! I heard it's very effective, with immediate results, but it's a bit hard on your pants!"
"Ha ha ha ha--"
