Ruan Yunxi had finished eating, and Gu Weizhou had also had his fill of watching.
Turning around at the sound, Gu Weizhou saw Ruan Yunxi's rosy face and slightly red lips. His gaze darkened, and he pulled her into his arms, pressing a kiss to her lips: "Have you finished eating?"
Ruan Yunxi nodded, hugged him, and asked, "Aren't you hungry?"
"I'm not hungry right now." Gu Weizhou kissed her again and asked, "Did they cause any trouble while I wasn't home this morning?"
Ruan Yunxi nodded: "They seem a little unaccustomed to it, especially your daughter, who seems to be looking for you."
Gu Weizhou's lips curled up, a complex mix of secret delight and heartache in his eyes: "She's so young, how could she understand this?"
"It's just a father-daughter telepathy!" Ruan Yunxi rambled on, knowing that Gu Weizhou would like to hear it anyway.
Sure enough, he could barely suppress a smile: "As expected of my daughter, whom I raised from postpartum period, she's my precious darling!"

Just as Sister-in-law Sheng said, I never realized he was such a cold-faced but warm-hearted man. Now that he has a daughter, wow, he can just spout cheesy things without batting an eye.
"I'm jealous!" Ruan Yunxi pretended to be angry.
Gu Weizhou chuckled even more: "What are you angry about?"
“Now that you have a daughter, you shouldn’t care about me anymore,” Ruan Yunxi said bluntly.
Gu Weizhou wanted to protest his innocence, but looking at his adorable daughter, he couldn't bring himself to speak.
Ruan Yunxi angrily punched him: "Fine, you admit it!"
Gu Weizhou shook his head: "No, I only like her because she's your daughter. You're the one I care about most."
"You're lying! If you cared about me, why didn't you come back at noon when we got married?" Ruan Yunxi accused.
Gu Weizhou looked at her silently: "Think about it carefully. Did I run back at noon because I was worried about you being home alone? Did you think it was too much trouble for me to run back, and promised me that you could take care of yourself at noon and that I wouldn't have to bring you food?"
Ruan Yunxi blinked, her memory returning to the time when she first joined the army.
She glanced guiltily at Gu Weizhou.
Gu Weizhou scoffed: "I don't care about you?"
"You care."
"not give a damn about?"
"care."
"Huh?"
"Hoo!"
After finishing her meal, Sister Sheng saw that there was nothing for her to do, so she washed the dishes and went back to rest. She would come back to help soothe the babies when they woke up.
The nanny didn't disturb Gu Weizhou and Ruan Yunxi; it was normal for the young couple to be so affectionate.
When Gu Weizhou came out of the room, his mouth was a little swollen, and upon closer inspection, it was clear that he had been bitten.
Gu Weizhou, looking completely at ease, asked the old woman, "Where are the noodles you saved?"
The nanny added a few more slices of beef to his bowl, worried that he wouldn't be full from the noodles, and also cooked him a bowl of mackerel dumplings, which he hadn't finished yesterday, so he could still eat them after cooking them up.
Gu Weizhou has a big appetite; he was only half full after finishing a bowl of noodles.
Another plate of dumplings, and after eating twenty dumplings, I was finally full.
