Suri walked along the corridor of the courtyard and looked around. He noticed that most of the doors were open, but there were still a few houses whose doors were closed due to restrictions.
When Su Rui arrived at the first room with a restriction, he couldn't help but feel curious. He wanted to rely on his own strength to forcibly break the restriction, but when he saw that the restriction hit his attack with twice the force, he was startled and quickly gave up the idea.
However, a reluctance within him pushed Su Rui to continue on. Whenever he encountered a room with a barrier, he would try various methods to break through. Fortunately, his newly acquired treasure, the Jiuyi Ding, proved invaluable, repeatedly fending off the barriers' attacks and keeping him safe.
As Su Rui approached a tightly closed door—clearly the legendary alchemy room—an idea struck him. He decided to use the Earthly Extreme True Fire Evil, a skill he had never used before, to see if he could break the barrier. He carefully summoned the Earthly Extreme True Fire Evil and simultaneously activated the Nine Doubts Cauldron, creating two layers of tight protection around himself.
Surprisingly, the Earthly True Fire Evil actually had an effect! Like a blazing torrent, it instantly broke through the barrier, burning a vast opening. Su Rui's eyes widened, unable to believe what was happening. He hesitated for a moment, then reached out to touch the opening. After confirming there was no danger, he immediately became excited.
Without hesitation, Su Rui entered the alchemy room through the gap.
The space within the alchemy room seemed somewhat cramped, yet neatly arranged. In the center sat a small, exquisite three-legged cauldron, standing steadily, as if imbued with endless mystery and power. Further in, a spiritual platform radiated spiritual energy, upon which rested a cushion that looked like a thatched mat.
On the left side of the wall was an exquisite three-tiered stone shelf. Each tier was filled with various bottles and jars, some tall, some short, some round, some square, and it was unknown whether these bottles contained elixirs.
On the right side, against the wall, a remarkably smooth stone platform stood quietly. This platform looked quite old, bearing the marks of time, yet it still exuded a mysterious aura. Atop it lay a half-opened bamboo scroll. The bamboo strips, polished to a smooth finish by long use, seemed to reflect the surrounding light. These details revealed that this scroll was frequently read and well-tended by its owner.
Scattered beside the bamboo scroll were a few scattered materials, some resembling herbs, others like minerals or gemstones. Though seemingly randomly placed, these materials seemed to hold a tacit connection. Perhaps only that practitioner knew their purpose and how to combine them.
This display hints at the presence of a dedicated alchemist who once resided here. Perhaps immersed in the process of refining a medicinal elixir, he abruptly departed for some unknown reason. This remains, leaving behind only the traces of his whereabouts and whether he succeeded in refining the legendary elixir. The entire scene exudes an air of mystery, leaving room for endless speculation.
