Chapter 8: With the stickers on, we are best friends.

Chapter 8: With the stickers on, we are best friends.

On the first day of the fall semester, Li Zhen felt that she was more nervous than her daughter.

"School bag, small water cup, picture book..." Li Zhen listened to Han Lanji's instructions and put things away one by one.

After all, she is a mother of two children and she is very experienced. "Don't worry, there's still time. By the way, where are Ye-eun's stickers?"

There are not many children in the kindergarten, but it is extremely easy for items to get mixed up. She has come up with an idea since Duomei went to kindergarten a few years ago: put stickers of the children's portraits on their belongings to prevent their things from getting lost.

"There's no name printed on it, right? We should be careful not to let outsiders know the child's name." She helped Li Zhen fold Yien's spare small clothes and put them in her bag.

"Here, here, hey, where are the stickers? Yeen!" Li Zhen turned to look at the two children who were eating breakfast, and helplessly held his forehead. The children were fascinated by the photo albums he printed as stickers, and always stole the stickers when he was not paying attention to "admire" them.

She has been so narcissistic and confident since she was a child. It seems that she will not be afraid of meeting a man like her father who likes to belittle others in the future.

Ye-eun and Kwon Ji-yong sat side by side eating cakes, each holding a piece of cloud-shaped cake in their hands. Their little heads moved in tacit understanding as their two mothers walked. When they heard her mother's question, Ye-eun guiltily took out the portrait sticker hidden under her butt.

She had a sad face and quickly picked two stickers with her hands before handing them to Li Zhen, "Mom, can you make more cute Ye-eun stickers in the future?"

Li Zhen took the sticker and nodded helplessly, "But you can't just stick it randomly."

Yi Eun nodded decisively. However, the moment Li Zhen turned around, she stretched out her other hand and raised it in front of Quan Zhilong with five fingers spread out. "Zhilong, look! This is Yi Eun!"

There is a small sticker on the tip of each of the chubby index and middle fingers, with an image of a chubby little face with pigtails on it.

Quan Zhilong swallowed the last bite of cloud cake with milk in the children's water cup, patted his small schoolbag, and pointed at the sticker on his schoolbag, "Hey, this is Zhilong, so our things won't be lost."

When Yien heard this, her gaze shifted from her mother who was marking her with stickers to her chubby hands, and then to Kwon Ji-yong beside her, with a thoughtful expression.

The next second, she lowered her head, tore off a sticker from her fingertips, and stuck it to her chest with a "snap", "Ye-eun herself!"

Then he quickly put the remaining sticker on Kwon Ji-yong's chest, "Ye-eun's friend!"

Her expression was proud and confident. "This way, Ye-eun won't lose Zhi-ryong. Don't let Zhi-ryong get lost when we get to kindergarten."

Quan Zhilong scratched his head and looked down at the sticker on his chest. He liked to scribble on his clothes since he was a child, but he didn't think there was anything wrong with it. Li Zhen on the side was speechless and amused. Does this child treat his friends as his own property?

At the kindergarten gate, Yien held Kwon Ji-yong's hand on the left and pulled Li Zhen's clothes on the right, listening to the crying sounds coming from around her from time to time in a daze.

On the left is a little kid hugging his mother and crying loudly, "I don't want to go to kindergarten! I want to go home!"

On the right is a little kid holding his father's hand, with tears in his eyes, "Dad, you must pick me up on time, okay?"

The chaotic crying sounds reached Yien's ears, and anxiety instantly spread at the entrance of the kindergarten. She slowly let go of Quan Zhilong's hand, and held Li Zhen's clothes tightly with both hands, "Mom, didn't you say kindergarten was fun?"

Why is everyone crying?

Ye-eun shrank back behind Li Zhen in fear, feeling that the wonderful life in the kindergarten picture book had suddenly turned into a flood and a beast. She whispered, "Mom, can we go home too?"

Li Zhen squatted down and touched the flower bud on her daughter's head. She herself was also suffering from separation anxiety, but the child always had to go through this moment. "Yien will play in the kindergarten for a while. Mom will definitely come to pick her up on time."

She pointed at the watch on her hand and said, "Didn't I agree with Ye-eun that when the number reaches seventeen, Mommy will come to pick her up. Look, the other kids are getting ready to go to school too."

"Yeah..." Ye Eun nodded, not crying, but the atmosphere around her was filled with low pressure, "I understand."

She secretly glanced at her "classmates" around her. They were all accompanied by their parents. Yien stared at the fathers for a moment, moved on her toes, lowered her head and said nothing.

Quan Zhilong listened to what Yi Eun said and came over to comfort her, "Ye Eun, let's go to kindergarten together and go home together."

He puffed out his small chest, “Don’t worry, Auntie, leave Ye-eun to me!”

The two little hands were held together again, and under the guidance of the teacher, Yien suppressed her fear and anxiety and turned her head frequently to look at her mother behind her. When she could no longer see Li Zhen around the corner, she finally couldn't hold back her tears.

Tears instantly wet her cheeks. Yien, who was carrying a small schoolbag, wiped her tears while holding Quan Zhilong's hand tightly, "Zhilong, when will my mother come to pick me up..."

The kindergarten teacher glanced at the parent hiding in the corner wiping away tears. As an experienced teacher, she was no stranger to such scenes at the beginning of each school year. She squatted down and whispered to comfort him, "I heard from little Yien's mom that Yien is a little warrior. Wow, it turns out that the teacher found Yien very brave as soon as she saw her just now! Did Zhilong find it too?"

Quan Zhilong also nodded hurriedly, "Just now at the door, other children were crying, only Ye Eun didn't cry!"

"Is Ye-en a little warrior?" Ye-en controlled her crying a little and looked up at Kwon Ji-yong.

He turned his head following the teacher's gaze and saw his aunt with tearful eyes and his mother smiling and waving at him. Quan Zhilong leaned down to Ye Eun's ear, shyly covered his mouth and whispered: "Ye Eun, don't cry, auntie is going to cry too."

Yien turned her head instantly and immediately saw tears on her mother's face. She choked and sobbed twice, and couldn't help but shake off Quan Zhilong and the teacher's hands, and rushed to her mother quickly.

"Hey! Ye Eun!" Kwon Ji-yong was stunned for two seconds. Why did his comfort have the opposite effect?

Ye-eun rushed to her mother and threw herself at Li Zhen with her arms wide open, choking with tears, saying, "Mom, please hold the baby."

Li Zhen hugged her chubby daughter. She couldn't help crying, but she knew that if parents were anxious at this time, the children would only become more resistant to kindergarten.

She took a deep breath for two seconds and controlled her sobs, "Okay, mommy will hug the baby."

The heavy hug seemed to give four-year-old Yien a great sense of security. Her little face rested on the crook of her mother's neck, and tears flowed down her cheeks onto her mother's neck.

Ye-eun released her mother's hand, wiped her mother's wet skin, and cried, "Ye-eun will be brave, but mommy must, must come to pick you up! Ye-eun only has mommy."

The little person took Quan Zhilong and the teacher's hands again and walked inside. Han Lanji's eyes were also moist. She hugged Li Zhen who was crying uncontrollably and patted her gently: "You have done very well."

Although she didn't know what kind of person Ye-en's father was, he must be a very bad person and had a very bad experience to make a mother so cruel that she never wanted her child to see her father again.

The decision to stay away must have been one she made after careful consideration.

But none of them expected that a little girl who hadn't seen her father for several months would say such heartbreaking words as "I only have my mother" when she saw the kindergarten gate full of children being picked up by their parents.

The two mothers chatted with each other for a long time, and the person that Ye-eun was clinging to this time was Quan Zhilong. She stared at Quan Zhilong with tears in her eyes again: "Didn't you say that Zhilong would accompany Ye-eun? Why is Zhilong leaving too?"

In her understanding, going to school together and going home together means staying together forever!

Quan Zhilong scratched his head awkwardly, "Ye'en and I are not in the same class. Don't be afraid, Ye'en, I'm right next door."

"Is Zhilong a liar?" Yien pursed her lips and tears began to flow, "I promised to accompany Yien."

"I'll come find Ye-eun after class, okay?" Kwon Ji-yong rummaged through his schoolbag and quickly tore off the sticker and put it on Ye-eun's arm.

The boy's silly smile was instantly imprinted on the little girl's arm. He pinched Ye'en's chubby face and said, "Ye'en, be good. Zhilong will put stickers on you. After class, you just stay in the classroom and Zhilong will come to find Ye'en along the stickers."

Ye-eun looked down at her brother's silly little face on her arm, then turned to look at her smiling face on Quan Zhilong's chest, and burst into laughter, "Okay! Zhilong must come!"

"I will definitely come!" Quan Zhilong put on his small schoolbag again, "After the stickers are put on, we will be best friends."

She raised her hand and put her own sticker and Kwon Ji-yong's sticker on the back of her hand. After comparing them seriously and sincerely, she replied to Kwon Ji-yong who was comforting her: "Ye-eun is so cute."

My stickers are even cuter when compared with Zhilong’s stickers!

Quan Zhilong: “……?”

Teacher: “???” Is this child’s extremely confident style?

Forget it, just hope Ye-eun doesn’t cry. Quan Zhilong laughed: "Yeah!"
