While Chen Suwen and her husband were at home discussing their future life, Shen Wenxiu at the hospital welcomed her mother.
"I heard you fell because you were arguing with your mother-in-law? Did she bully you?"
Shen Wenxiu's mother, He Caiping, was furious at this moment and showed no mercy to Zhou Cunzong.
The thought of her daughter being six months pregnant and being bullied by her wicked mother-in-law, almost resulting in a difficult childbirth and the deaths of both mother and child—no, three lives lost—filled her with uncontrollable rage.

Hearing him speak, He Caiping turned around and glared at him fiercely, "She's your own mother, of course you'll speak up for her."
He Caiping stared at him and questioned, "When are you going to separate the family? Your whole family lives together. What if your mother bullies Wenxiu again in the future?"
"Now that Wenxiu has given birth to two daughters, your mother dislikes her even more."
"Look at your older brother's daughter. Don't you think about how your mother will treat your wife and children in the future?"
He Caiping really didn't have much affection for Chen Suwen, her daughter-in-law's mother. She had dealt with Chen Suwen many times in the year since her daughter married into the Chen family.
She was always the one who came out on the losing end, so her feelings for Chen Suwen became even stronger.
Before Zhou Cunzong could speak, another voice rang out.
"Divide the family property? Fine, you're trying to get my son to divide the family property?"
"What? You haven't changed your meddlesome nature, have you?"
Zhou Cunzong suddenly looked up at his mother, who was standing aggressively at the door of the ward, and blurted out, "Mom, what brings you here?"
"What? Can't I come?"
Chen Suwen was carrying a basket, which she had brought for Shen Wenxiu's dinner.
As soon as she reached the door of the ward, she heard He Caiping's words and felt terrible.
Even though she wasn't the original owner of this body, she wouldn't allow He Caiping to challenge her authority.
"If you think there's anything wrong with my family, then take your daughter back home! If you're so capable, then take your daughter home and raise her instead of sending her back to our Zhou family!"
Chen Suwen tossed the basket in her hand to Zhou Cunzong, pointed at He Caiping and scolded her, "If you don't have the ability, don't give me any bad advice."
"Separate the family?"
“I gave Zhou Cunzong his job. He’s only been working for less than two years. I haven’t even gotten a 20-30% return on the money I’ve spent on him since he was a child, and now we’re already splitting up?”
"What? Do you think I, Chen Suwen, am some kind of good-tempered person, or some kind of selfless person?"
"I raised Zhou Cunzong with great care and hardship, and even gave him a job. It's only been two years and you're already trying to take him away? You're not leaving me with a single thing, are you?"
