Chu Lan's voice was icy cold, and every step he took seemed to tread on Chu Chenxi's heartstrings, making her tremble involuntarily.
Chu Chenxi's face turned even paler. She finally realized that everything she had done had now come crashing back at her like a boomerang.
She forced herself to remain calm, and shouted with a fierce but weak voice, "Chu Lan, stop talking nonsense! When have I ever done such things to you? It is clearly you and Chu Wanwan who harbor ill intentions and intend to overthrow my Nine Heavens Immortal Sect!"
Chu Lan sneered, and the red whip in her hand suddenly accelerated, transforming into a red lightning bolt that aimed straight for Chu Chenxi's face. Chu Chenxi was shocked and could only barely raise her hand to block, but the spiritual power contained in the whip forced her back several steps, almost causing her to fall.
