"Medic! Medic! The old general is seriously injured!" a soldier shouted as he rushed over.
Chu Lan's heart tightened; the slight relief she had just felt was replaced by anxiety. Ignoring her exhaustion, she immediately followed the soldiers to the old general's tent.
Upon entering the tent, Chu Lan saw the old general, his face pale, with blood still seeping from multiple wounds. Tears streamed down Chu Lan's face uncontrollably: "Father!"
The military doctor rushed over to treat the old general, while Chu Lan waited anxiously by.
"Miss Chu, if the old general can make it through tonight, he will be considered alive. If..." The military doctor hesitated, his expression grave.
