Chapter 11: The emergence of Qi, a leap forward for civilization

Wisdom is the key for apes to move towards human civilization. Everything Yang Fan did before was for the ape community to suddenly awaken at this moment!

Excited, Yang Fan acted quickly and selected a thoughtful ape as his messenger, preparing to teach him some practical skills and how to learn.

This ape is only eight years old, but he often behaves differently from other apes of his kind.

For example, he sometimes asks strange questions: What is life? What is death? Why do we live? What is aura? Why does it give ordinary beasts such powerful strength?

Of course, no one answered these questions for him, and no one understood his thoughts.

Occasionally, he would sit under the night sky, looking at the moon created by Yang Fan for a long time without saying a word.

"Are you wondering why this glowing stone, sometimes full and sometimes incomplete, hangs in the night sky on time every night?"

When Yang Fan's voice suddenly appeared in the ape's mind, his face was filled with fear and he kept asking, "Who is it? Who is speaking?"

"I am God, the creator of this world. I have the answers to all the questions you have been pondering in your heart." Yang Fan continued to transmit the message into his mind.

"God... the creator of the world..."

The ape's eyes were still full of confusion, but there was also a hint of sudden enlightenment.

Yang Fan saw the wisdom flashing in the eyes of this ape and couldn't help feeling a little regretful.

"It's a shame you were born in the wrong era, otherwise your wisdom could have been fully utilized. But then again, without you, that era might never have arrived. The road ahead requires many people to pave the way, and your efforts will lay a solid foundation for the development of future generations."

If this ape had been born in an era when human civilization had already taken shape, he might have become a monk with extremely high comprehension and a genius that everyone admired.

But now, he must devote everything to the development of apes and use his life to promote the development of the entire civilization.

Under Yang Fan's guidance, the ape learned to make traps, craft weapons, use fire, and identify herbs...

He could learn whatever Yang Fan taught him. After only four years on Blue Star, he had become an all-rounder who knew everything about astronomy and geography.

From combat to strategy, from medical treatment to production, he is proficient in everything.

He even created a set of hieroglyphics under Yang Fan's guidance that apes could easily recognize.

Yang Fan racked his brains and felt that there was nothing more to teach him, so he announced that he had successfully graduated.

At this time, he was already twelve years old, which was considered an adult among apes.

"Go, Qi, your people are experiencing confusion and need you to lead them to open up a bright future." Yang Fan transmitted the message.

Qi is the name Yang Fan gave to this ape, which means "enlightenment", "departure" and "inspiration".

The prototype of human civilization will be formed under Qi's guidance and will move forward into the future without stopping.

"Father God, are you leaving us now?" Qi asked with a hint of sadness.

To him, Yang Fan is the teacher who enlightened his thoughts, the elder who taught him various skills, and the special existence who can answer the doubts in his heart.

He called Yang Fan "Father God", which shows how high Yang Fan's status was in his heart.

"I won't leave, I just won't be around as often as I have in the past few years. Civilization develops according to its own laws. I'm just starting it. Everything else depends on you. Don't worry, I'll always be watching over you from heaven. Perhaps we'll meet again someday."

After saying this, Yang Fan never showed up again.

Qi stared blankly at the sky, silent for a long time, until a tear seeped out of the corner of his eye.

He knew that Yang Fan would not lie to him. Since he said that he would watch over them from heaven, it was impossible for him not to see his wet eyes.

He wiped his eyes and walked towards the direction of his tribe.

"Father God, I will use everything you have taught me to change this world. This is the promise I once made to you, and it is what I will strive for throughout my life."

Yang Fan, who was looking at the Blue Star from a God's perspective, also sighed at this time, feeling a little reluctant.

Although Qi was just an ordinary life born on his planet, Yang Fan had always regarded him as his apprentice during the four years they had been together. It would be absolutely false to say that he had no feelings for him.

However, Yang Fan cannot interfere too much in the development of civilization. He should observe the evolution of civilization from the perspective of an observer and only appear when necessary. This is the quality that a qualified creator should have.

After Yang Fan's consciousness was pulled away from the planet, time acceleration was activated again, and the speed of civilization evolution increased dramatically.

Qi, with his wealth of talent, quickly emerged as a top talent among the younger generation upon returning to the ape tribe.

In the process of practice, Qi constantly enriched and improved his knowledge system and became mature.

When Qi was eighteen years old, the old chief died unexpectedly in a battle. Qi, who already had great reputation, naturally took the throne of the chief.

There has never been such a young leader before.

Most of the previous leaders would plunder resources and seize women to satisfy their own selfish desires as soon as they took office.

But Qi was not interested in fame, wealth or power. Even when many beautiful women took the initiative to throw themselves at him, he pushed them away without any hesitation.

He is a man with ideals, with a dazzling light in his eyes. He has only one thing to do in his life - to develop civilization!

For the next ten years, Qi worked eighteen hours a day. Except for sleeping time, he spent most of his time teaching skills to his tribesmen, answering their questions, and guiding them in carrying out various tasks.

Under Qi's leadership, the ape tribe learned how to make traps, manufacture weapons, and use strategies to successfully defeat the black bear that once cast a huge shadow on them.

When the black bear's body was hung on bamboo poles by the apes and carried back to the territory step by step amid roars of victory, all the apes were excited and their worship of Qi almost reached a fanatical level.

They do whatever they are told to do, and they learn whatever they are told to learn.

But Qi did not accept the flattery of his tribesmen. He knew where everything he had came from.

Qi looked up at the sky and told his people that everything was brought by Father God, who was the creator of the world and the supreme God.

Under Qi's guidance, the apes worked together to transport a ten-meter-high stone and carved the image of Qi's father god.

From then on, the apes' fanatical worship of Qi gradually shifted to the Father God.

Whenever something major happened or an important decision was made, they would kneel down and kowtow to the stone statue that symbolized the Father God, offer sacrifices, and pray for peace.

Although under Qi's guidance, civilization developed rapidly and everything flourished.

But the intelligence of apes is still slightly behind that of humans.

Not everyone is like Qi, who possesses extraordinary talents that transcend racial limitations.

This is also the reason why Qi must maintain high intensity work, because no one in the tribe can share the work with him, and many things must be directed and supervised by him personally, otherwise some unpredictable disasters will occur.
