Chapter 84 Young and in good physical condition

Jiang Zhan took off his apron and walked up to Lu Zhiwei.

When he looked at Lu Zhiwei, his eyes were filled with admiration and appreciation, without a trace of impurity.

Looking into the young man's eyes, Ruan Jizhou immediately felt a sense of crisis: "There's a vacant room upstairs, can I rent it?"

Jiang Zhan shook his head: "That was the first room that was rented out, but no one has lived there since."

"What are you doing here, a top actor like you?" Lu Zhiwei teased him.

Ruan Jizhou: "What if the tenant is also a man? Wouldn't that mean you'd be living in a men's den?"

"You're a man too."

“But I can protect you,” Ruan Jizhou said with a smile.

"Sister, he's more dangerous than me. What he calls 'protection' is actually a desire to sleep with you." Jiang Zhan was young and impetuous, and he was never afraid to offend anyone.

Ruan Jizhou's expression instantly crumbled, and his thin lips moved slightly: "You bastard."

"Isn't what I said true? Don't you like Sister Lu?" Jiang Zhan picked up his rice bowl and started eating alone.

Ruan Jizhou stood frozen in place and smiled.

He couldn't refute it.

He likes Lu Zhiwei and is unconsciously attracted to her.

Being with her makes me feel safe and comfortable, even after struggling in the entertainment industry through countless ups and downs.

He had always wanted to find a safe haven where he could stop and rest.

"Sister, sit down and eat. I'm a good cook. From now on, you can leave the cooking, washing dishes, and mopping to me. I'm young and strong. I can do anything."

"I can't let you work for free. How much will I pay you per day?" Lu Zhiwei thought that since he could take care of all the housework, she wouldn't need to hire a nanny, and the house would be quiet.

"I've won a lot of prize money from various design competitions, so I'm not short of money."

Lu Zhiwei invited Ruan Jizhou to sit down and have a simple meal.

Ruan Jizhou barely touched his chopsticks. He forced a few bites, but the food tasted sour. He wondered if there was something wrong with his taste buds or if too much vinegar had been added.

After seeing Ruan Jizhou off, Lu Zhiwei returned to her bedroom on the second floor and sent a message to Lu Yunsheng, saying that she would be living outside from now on and would not be returning to the Lu family home.

Lu Yunsheng called and initially disagreed, but Lu Zhiwei was determined, so he had no choice but to compromise.

Putting down her phone, Lu Zhiwei began searching through the wardrobe, drawers, and any place in the room where she might be hiding something.

Her mother, Su Wan, told her that there was something of utmost importance to her hidden in the villa, and that she had to find it herself.

Da da da—

Heavy footsteps echoed down the wooden staircase.

The footsteps were heavier than usual.

Could it be that another tenant has moved in on the second floor, and perhaps a very important one at that?
