☆、Little Devil 04-16
Gu Li ran far away in one breath, and only when she turned around and found that Chu Yaofeng had not caught up did she dare to stop and catch her breath. She placed her hand on her heart, where it was still pounding erratically.
Damn it, how could she be so unlucky?!
Meeting him the moment I returned to China was definitely a tragic fate.
Fortunately, he no longer recognized himself. If he had, he would probably have been thrown off from this great height and his body would have been destroyed.
Gu Li patted her startled heart and began to regret returning to China in such a hurry.
If the Chu family finds out about their son's existence, I wonder if that will be a blessing or a curse for Chengcheng.
It seems that for the time being, she will have to find a place far from the city center to hide with Chengcheng. Once the Chu family's branch in City B collapses, she can live a carefree life in City B with her son.
Thinking of this, Gu Li finally felt a little comforted.
"Still eating? Don't you think your farts smell bad enough?"
A furious shout came from above, startling little Gu Jingcheng. He gulped down the potato chip he hadn't chewed yet with a forced bite.
If he doesn't do this, his heartless mother will pry open his mouth and pour it out.
"Mommy, is your stomach upset? Why did it take you so long?" The little guy smiled and changed the subject.
Gu Li was furious when she saw his Chu-style face. She grabbed his ear and said in a harsh voice, "Starting today, you're not allowed to eat snacks for a week."
Upon hearing this, Gu Jingcheng's face turned pale.
"Ugh, are you trying to starve me to death?!"
Gu Li snorted coldly, "If you want snacks, go back to London and find your godfather."
The little guy had a flat mouth and big, wet, deer-like eyes, making him look pitiful and endearing.
Normally, seeing him like this would soften Gu Li's heart, but at this moment, instead of feeling sorry for him, she felt a perverse pleasure, as if she were torturing a heartless and philandering playboy.
She let go of his hand, sat back down in her chair, and picked up the magazine again to casually flip through it.
There's a problem!
Mom didn't fall for it. This trick always works. There's no reason why Mom would harden her heart just because she went to the bathroom and came back.
The little guy rested his chin on his hand, looking like he was channeling Conan, deep in thought.
Suddenly, a screaming female voice rang out in the cabin: "Wow, so handsome! Is he a celebrity?"
Hearing the sound, the little guy looked up and his eyes immediately lit up, sparkling with intelligence. He was really handsome!
He wore a traditional black suit with a light blue striped collared shirt underneath. The simple colors and style gave him a mature and composed air.
What amazed the little guy the most was that the man's appearance was quite similar to his.
"Mommy, Mommy, look! Handsome guy, super handsome guy!"
Gu Li was annoyed by his constant pulling and tugging. She barely managed to turn around and glance back. Just one glance was enough to make her face change drastically. She hurriedly hid under her seat.
"Chengcheng, quickly cover me with a blanket. He absolutely cannot find me, understand?" Gu Li hurriedly instructed him.
After nodding blankly, the little guy grabbed a blanket and spread it on the seat, covering the area under the chair, then lay down on it and pretended to sleep.
Chu Yaofeng passed by him without noticing, and the little guy only opened his eyes after he left.
At that moment, Chu Yaofeng accidentally bumped into a little girl running towards him. He quickly squatted down, helped her up, and patted her trouser legs.
Just as he lowered his neck, the little guy seemed to have discovered something amazing. His eyes widened and he immediately jumped up from his seat.
He saw it clearly.
The man had a blue tattoo on his neck, but unfortunately only the edge was visible.
Could it be him?
When Chengcheng saw Chu Yaofeng stand up from the ground, seemingly about to walk back, he quickly lay back down to sleep. After he left, he got up again, jumped off the chair, and gazed at his back. Judging from his height and build, he really looked like him. Could it be him?
"Give me a hand." Gu Li's legs were cramping from curling up.
"Mommy, do you know that person?" Chengcheng bent down, pulling his mother out as he asked innocently.
Gu Li didn't notice the unusual look on her son's face. She climbed out, sat on a chair to stretch her limbs, and then said angrily, "He is my enemy."
Chengcheng's brows furrowed deeply, and her voice carried a hint of nervousness, "How did he offend you?"
“He—” Gu Li sighed silently, “It’s nothing, not some deep-seated hatred, just an annoying guy.”
"Oh." Chengcheng breathed a sigh of relief, then asked, "Mommy, what's his name?"
Gu Li glanced at him sideways, "Why do you care about him?"
"I'm going to avenge you!" Chengcheng said, looking indignant.
"You're more like a coward, Gu Jingcheng. Let me remind you, no, I'm warning you, don't think you're so great just because you have some mediocre skills. This is B City. If something happens, no one will protect you. If you dare to cause trouble for me, I'll send you all the way back to London."
Gu Li's lips twitched violently a few times. She was too busy avoiding Chu Yaofeng to dare to walk into his trap.
Chengcheng said "Oh," lowered his head, and smiled slyly. He just wanted to find out what his mother was saying about how deep her hatred for that person was. It sounded like, apart from a bad relationship, it wasn't a deep-seated grudge.
……………………
When the mother and son woke up, the plane had already landed safely at the airport in City B.
The passengers had all disembarked one after another. Gu Li was holding Chengcheng's hand and was about to reach the cabin door when she suddenly remembered that she had left one of her earrings by the toilet door. She said to Chengcheng, "Son, I left something behind. Go to the waiting area and wait for me. I'll be out soon."
"Okay." Chengcheng nodded obediently.
Gu Li then turned and ran towards the toilet.
Chengcheng waited in the departure hall for a while but his mother still hadn't come out, so he started looking around. Suddenly, he spotted a well-built man walking out of the green VIP channel. He had a natural aura and a domineering presence that was impossible to ignore.
Although he was wearing sunglasses, Chengcheng recognized him at a glance as the man with the blue tattoo on his neck.
As Chu Yaofeng walked out of the airport, he saw a Hummer parked at the entrance, ready to pick him up.
The driver had already respectfully opened the back door for him.
He strolled over casually, when suddenly something shot past him like a cannonball. He felt a cool breeze brush past his left leg.
Looking up, he saw a small figure carrying a Kung Fu Panda on his back, quickly jumping into the car that was waiting for him.
He frowned slightly, walked over, gave the driver a cold look, and asked, "Your grandson?"
"Huh?" The driver was even more surprised than him, shaking his head like a rattle-drum. "No, no, I don't know this child."
Seeing that the little guy looked somewhat like Chu Yaofeng, he thought he was the third young master's illegitimate son.
Isn't that right? Then why did this little guy jump onto his car?
Chu Yaofeng frowned deeply, and with a question in his mind, he got into the car, turning his head to look at the little guy who was fastening his seatbelt.
After fastening his seatbelt, the little guy looked up and gave him a sweet smile. His bright eyes curved like crescent moons, and his innocent and adorable smile captivated him.
Chu Yaofeng squinted and carefully examined Chengcheng's little face, discovering that his eyebrows, nose, and mouth were somewhat similar to his own, which gave him a jolt.
Seeing that he was staring intently at him, the little boy tightened his chubby little hands on the seatbelt and spoke first with a smile: "Hello, Uncle, I'm not a bad kid, I won't kidnap you. I'm a backpacker, here for tourism." As he spoke, the little boy opened his backpack and took out his items one by one, handing them to him: "This is my student ID, bus card, meal card, bank card, gate access card, and a personal photo album."
Chu Yaofeng picked up his photo album and flipped through it. It was full of photos of him with his bare bottom, in all sorts of different poses, and incredibly cute. As he looked at it, a faint, gentle smile appeared on his lips.
Seeing him smile, Chengcheng became bolder and said excitedly, "How about it? Aren't I handsome and cute? The lady who took my picture said I'm the most handsome kid she's ever seen, and she even asked me to be her model, but I didn't agree."
"Why?" Chu Yaofeng asked, a little curious. It was obvious this kid was quite vain; he shouldn't refuse such a good opportunity to show off.
Chengcheng said a little embarrassedly, "My bottom got swollen from Mommy's spanking."
Chu Yaofeng was taken aback: "Why did your mother hit you?"
"She said I was immoral and disgraced her," Chengcheng sighed dramatically. "Uncle, you be the judge. If I'm disgraced, it's my bottom, not my mom. If you were my dad, would you think I'm shameful like Mom?"
Seeing him lower his head, seemingly feeling frustrated by the lack of understanding, Chu Yaofeng couldn't help but want to comfort him, so he patted his head and said, "No."
"Huh?" This answer was completely unexpected for the little guy. Chengcheng tilted his head and looked at him sideways: "Why?"
"Whatever makes you happy!"
Chu Yaofeng chuckled softly, a genuine smile that even moved the driver to tears.
The third young master finally smiled from the bottom of his heart. It hadn't been easy; he had been waiting for this day for almost twenty years.
Regardless of whether this child of unknown origin is the Third Young Master's illegitimate son, as long as he can make the Third Young Master happy, he is willing to be punished for child trafficking.
With a "whoosh," the driver stepped on the gas, and the black Hummer shot off like an arrow.
The scenery on both sides of the car window rushed past, and the little guy felt a chill run down his spine. He patted his frightened chest and thought thankfully, "Thank goodness I was wearing my seatbelt, or this lousy old man would have thrown me off the seat!"
The little guy shifted his bottom, trying to find a more comfortable sitting position, but when he looked down, he found an arm across his belly. Following the arm, he saw Chu Yaofeng with one hand supporting him and the other hand on the passenger seat cushion. His usually gentle face was now very tense, and his brows were deeply furrowed.
The little guy suddenly realized that it wasn't his seatbelt that was fastened too tightly, but rather that the uncle had protected him with his hand.
So touching!
Unable to bear Chengcheng's grateful gaze, Chu Yaofeng's face flashed with an extremely unnatural expression.
Damn it, he didn't mean to protect him; it was a conditioned reflex that his limbs made on their own, not under the control of his brain.
However, seeing that the little guy was alright, his expression softened considerably, and he shouted to the driver, "Uncle Li, drive carefully."
"Yes, yes, yes!" the driver replied, sweating profusely.
Chu Yaofeng loosened his tie, turned around and saw the little guy still staring at him, raised an eyebrow at him, "Kid, where are you going?"
Chengcheng shrugged. "I can go anywhere."
Upon hearing this, Chu Yaofeng was startled. "You're not traveling alone as a backpacker, are you?"
"Yes, yes, Uncle, you're so smart." Chengcheng winked at him.
Chu Yaofeng closed his eyes and leaned back in his seat, arms crossed, wondering if he really should take this little guy of unknown origin home.
