☆、Going Home 04-15
The black Hummer slowly pulled up in front of a villa. Chengcheng looked at the ultra-modern two-story villa and exclaimed sincerely, "Uncle, is this your home? It's so beautiful."
"Do you like it?" Chu Yaofeng glanced at him, a hint of tenderness in his eyes.
"Yes, I like it." Chengcheng nodded. He would like it even more if he could stay there permanently.
"Here you go." Chu Yaofeng handed him a key.
"Why are you giving me the key?" Chengcheng was truly flattered. No way, his wish came true. He'd buy a lottery ticket tomorrow and give it a try.
"Here's the key to the villa. I happen to have an extra one that I don't need, so I'll give it to you. You can stay as long as you want. I have many villas like this, and they're just sitting empty anyway, so I might as well let you help me get rid of the mold and dust." Chu Yaofeng spoke in a generous and magnanimous tone, but Chengcheng could tell that he was worried that Chengcheng would be homeless.
What an awkward person. He meant well, so why is he embarrassed to admit it? Does he have to say things in a way that makes people feel disgusted before he's happy?
Well, considering his good intentions, Chengcheng magnanimously decided not to argue with him. "Thank you, Uncle."
"Hmm." As Chu Yaofeng turned to open the car door, a fleeting look of conflict crossed his face. What was wrong with him today? One thing after another, things kept going wrong. He had never been a kind-hearted or charitable person. He was also known for his ruthless and merciless nature in the business world. Yet today, he had miraculously changed his ways because of this inexplicable child, taking him home. And that wasn't all; he had even gone so far as to give him the house keys.
Yes, he does own many villas, but he has a particular fondness for this one.
Chengcheng followed him into the living room and asked, "Uncle, why did the old man go back? Doesn't he live here anymore?"
"Um."
Uncle Li was Chu Yaofeng's maternal grandfather's driver. He worked for the Su family for over thirty years. A few years ago, Su Zhengbang passed away, and Chu Yaofeng's maternal grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and sent to a nursing home. The children divided the property and went their separate ways, dismissing the Su family's servants, but Chu Yaofeng continued to employ Uncle Li.
Chu Yaofeng opened the refrigerator, inside which various vegetables, fruits and drinks were neatly arranged and categorized. Uncle Li had prepared them for him a day in advance, knowing he was coming back.
He casually took out a bottle of orange juice, unscrewed the cap, and handed it to the little guy. Then he turned around and took out a bottle of mineral water.
Glug glug—
"That feels so good!"
The two spoke in unison, looked at each other, and seeing that their bottles were empty, burst into laughter together.
Then I led the little one upstairs and said, "Take a bath."
"Together?"
"You wash it yourself."
Let's go together.
"I'm not used to it."
"Let's do it together, I can rub your back for you," Chengcheng said ingratiatingly, taking the opportunity to get a good look at the tattoo on his neck.
As Chu Yaofeng walked, he thought to himself, "Having someone scrub my back sounds pretty nice." "Okay!"
"Wow!" Chengcheng clapped excitedly.
The bath is large, round, and can accommodate seven or eight people.
Chengcheng quickly stripped himself naked and jumped into the water with a splash.
Waving its little arms and kicking its little legs, it swims around in the water in various poses.
Chu Yaofeng slowly took off his clothes, watching him act silly, and felt very happy.
"Uncle, come quick!" Chengcheng poured water on him, and when she saw him take off his underwear, her eyes widened and her mouth opened so wide it could fit a duck egg!
"What's wrong?" Chu Yaofeng walked into the bath, sat down, and gently patted the little guy's surprised face.
Chengcheng swallowed hard before stammering, "Your bird is so big, even bigger than my godfather's."
Chu Yaofeng chuckled lightly, his face full of smugness.
Chengcheng leaned closer and said with a fawning smile, "Uncle, do you have any secret recipe for feeding birds? Could you teach me?"
"Want to know?" Chu Yaofeng grinned mischievously.
"Mmm." Chengcheng nodded vigorously.
He pointed to his back.
The little guy immediately swam to his back, and when his eyes fell on the wing-like tattoo on his neck, Chengcheng was shocked. His almond-shaped eyes widened and became bright, blinking as if he was about to shed tears, and his cherry-red lips trembled.
"It really is you!"
I searched high and low without finding it, but today it came to me effortlessly.
Does he know how hard he's been searching for him, how desperate he's almost become?
Happiness came too suddenly, and Chengcheng had no idea how to react, let alone dare to... acknowledge him.
"What did you say?" Chu Yaofeng turned around abruptly. Chengcheng was so frightened that she fell into the water with a splash. She struggled to get up and vomited bathwater all over his face.
"Cough cough... my foot slipped." He wiped the water off his face and said.
Chu Yaofeng frowned, wiped the water off his face, and didn't blame him, but asked again, "What did you just say?"
What really is you? What does that mean?
"I said... what did I say? Oh dear, I tripped and fell and forgot." Chengcheng tapped his head, seemingly genuinely not remembering.
Chu Yaofeng heard it clearly, and he felt that Chengcheng was hiding something from him. "Chengcheng..."
"Ouch, I got water in my ear." Chengcheng used his fingers to clean his ear.
Seeing this, Chu Yaofeng immediately stopped him, tilting his head to one side. Slowly, the little guy felt a warm flow from his ear.
"They're out, they're out."
"Don't move." He cupped his face to stop him from moving.
"Oh." Chengcheng let out a soft breath, enjoying the feeling of being taken care of.
………………
After Chengcheng finished showering, Chu Yaofeng threw his dirty clothes into the washing machine. Since there were no children's clothes at home, he could only give him his own shirt to wear temporarily.
There was no one else in the house besides the two of them, so the little guy didn't have to wear pants and could go around naked from the waist down.
The loose shirt looked like a skirt on the little guy, and with his long, white, and tender legs, he even looked a little sexy.
Chu Yaofeng deliberately smiled lecherously.
Chengcheng was as shy as a little girl, her face flushed, and she kept asking to wear pants. Chu Yaofeng wouldn't let her, locked the room, and put the key in his pocket.
Chengcheng was not as strong as him and could not snatch it no matter what he did. He was so angry that he wanted to smash down the door of his room.
The two argued until dark, then collapsed on the bed, barely clinging to life, too exhausted to even eat dinner.
“Chengcheng…”
Chu Yaofeng wanted to know about his family background. What kind of family raised a child who was so brave as to travel alone as a backpacker? Were his parents really not worried at all, or did they simply not care about his life or death?
Such a lovely child, and they couldn't even leave a complete stranger to wander alone. How could their parents be so heartless? They have no sense of responsibility as parents at all. Why did they even give birth to him in the first place?
Chu Yaofeng felt increasingly indignant on behalf of the little guy, but when he turned around, he found that Chengcheng was already asleep.
He sighed silently, gently stroking the adorable little face with his large hand, a bittersweet feeling, akin to fatherly love, washing over him.
If his biological parents don't want him, he will take him in and raise him, and provide him with the best material life.
Chu Yaofeng may not have much else, but he has plenty of money. Even if you spend millions on him every day, it's enough to ensure he lives a long and worry-free life.
He covered Chengcheng with the blanket and vaguely heard singing. It wasn't his phone ringing. He followed the sound and found that the singing was coming from Chengcheng's schoolbag.
