Chapter 189: Success or Failure
After Shen Yuexi asked Dr. Hua, she finally understood what had happened.
When General Jia first captured them, he was indeed very ferocious. However, Dr. Hua, a skilled physician, could tell at a glance that General Jia was ill. He explained this to General Jia, but he refused to believe it, believing he was healthy and could not possibly be ill. The soldiers in the village came to ask Dr. Hua for a diagnosis. He found that half of them had been infected with Mycobacterium leprae, but were still in the incubation period.

General Jia chuckled and said, "So it's General Zhang. Didn't His Royal Highness order me to do something here? He...he has another secret order, ordering me to go to Yongwei and deliver another batch of armadillos to the Prince of Xiliang."
"Where's your armadillo? Why can't I see it?" asked the strange man.
Shen Yuexi's heart tightened.
General Jia can't even lie well. It will be troublesome if the other party finds out their true intentions.
"I have asked the soldiers to take the armadillo first, and I will set off... later." General Jia tried his best to support himself.
"What are you thinking, General?" the strange man asked. "Our Jingzhou army is about to wipe out Xiliang. Why would you send us an armadillo?"
