"What?"
"Who are you people? I haven't offended you!"
"You didn't offend us, but you offended the wrong people, and this is your fate."
"Whom did you offend that you shouldn't have?
"You should be able to see her before you die. Your older brother said she'll come to see you tomorrow."
Aunt Ye was filled with fear and confusion, trying hard to recall who she had offended.
"You're kidnapping me like this, it's illegal! Let me go!" Aunt Ye shouted.
"You old hag, you're so noisy! Can't you see I've lost money? Your nagging is giving me a headache."
A chubby guard walked over, cursing and rudely stuffing a piece of cloth into Aunt Ye's mouth.
"Finally, some peace and quiet. You old hag, save your energy."
Aunt Ye could only make muffled sounds, her eyes filled with anger and despair.
As night deepened, the guards gradually fell asleep, leaving only the sounds of their snores. Aunt Ye, however, was wide awake. The floor was cold, and the basement was even colder at night. Coupled with her intense fear, she dared not close her eyes to sleep. She lay on the floor with her eyes open all night, her body stiff with cold.
Just as dawn was breaking, footsteps could be heard outside.
The guards immediately came to their senses and stood in a respectful row.
A woman dressed in elegant and luxurious clothes walked slowly towards them, holding a red handbag in her hand, with a smile on her face.
After seeing who it was, Aunt Ye's eyes were full of doubt.
The woman stopped in front of Aunt Ye, looking down at the disheveled Aunt Ye, enjoying her embarrassment and disarray.
