Chapter 12 The Long Years

The man in black still led the way, followed by a dozen or so black streaks of light that flew up and headed towards Fox Plains behind Liuli.

Liuli returned to Fox Plains first. She rushed straight to the six-tailed white fox. It was already dark by then. The six-tailed white fox was still lying on the low hill. When it saw Liuli return, it frowned and asked, "Liuli, why are you back so late today? I almost went to the forest to look for you."

Liuli emerged from the white light, squatted down in front of the six-tailed white fox, and pouted, saying aggrievedly, "Grandmother, a demon cultivator is bullying me!"

The six-tailed white fox frowned even more deeply and asked in a deep voice, "Demon race?"

"Yes." Liuli's eyes were filled with tears as she said aggrievedly, "He bullied me, Grandmother, you must stand up for Liuli! Liuli has never been humiliated like this before!"

Just then, the dozen or so dark figures landed on Fox Plain, startling many white foxes. Liuli looked up and said resentfully, "It's that man who led the way!"

The black-clad man at the front turned and surveyed the surrounding scenery. He then placed his hands behind his back and announced loudly, "I am Li Molin, the young master of the Demon Clan. May I ask who is in charge here? My Demon Clan has something to discuss!"

The six-tailed white fox slowly rose, and with a flash of white light, she transformed into an exquisitely beautiful woman. The woman was tall and slender, graceful and elegant. Her face was stunning, her fox eyes both soft and alluring, yet filled with a hint of melancholy, suggesting she had lived through many years.

She floated up lightly, flying at an extremely fast speed to Li Molin. Then, before any of the men in black could react, she suddenly struck out and slapped Li Molin across the face.

Li Molin watched her approach, his instinctive reaction being to dodge, but an ethereal force bound his body, preventing him from escaping in the slightest. The next moment, a sharp pain shot through his cheek. He turned his head, feeling a burning sensation on his cheek and a sweet taste in his throat, before spitting out a mouthful of blood.

The group of men in black behind him were immediately enraged and stepped forward in a chaotic manner, about to speak, when Li Molin suddenly stretched out his right hand and swung it heavily behind him. The men in black stopped, but their faces were still full of anger.

Li Molin was the young master of the demon race. He had always been superior to others since childhood. He had never suffered such humiliation. His heart was filled with anger, and his eyes were cold and icy as he stared at the six-tailed white fox.

But for the sake of the Demon Clan's grand plan, he had no choice but to swallow his anger.

Li Molin closed his eyes briefly, and when he opened them again, he managed to soften his gaze somewhat, but his anger and coldness were still clearly visible.

The woman smiled faintly, and her captivating smile immediately dazzled the eyes of the many men in black behind Li Molin. Even in their fury, they felt a surge of heat in their hearts and a blush on their cheeks.

She said calmly, "This slap is for you daring to bully my Liuli."

At this moment, Liuli flew over and stood behind the six-tailed white fox, raising her chin and looking at Li Molin provocatively.

Li Molin glanced at her, looking at the provocative smile on her face, but strangely, he didn't feel any dislike at all. On the contrary, he felt that the smug and arrogant smile on her face was particularly real, like a proud little beast, baring its claws and showing off wantonly. There was a bit of laughable childishness, but what he felt more was that lovely innocence.

Li Molin's expression softened, and he calmly withdrew his gaze. He wiped the blood from his lips and said in a deep voice, "It was this junior who was rude and offended Miss Liuli. May I ask how this senior is addressed? Are you in charge of the Fox Plains?"

The six-tailed white fox said calmly, "In this Fox Plains, I am indeed older, but I can hardly be called the one in charge. Tell me, what exactly is the purpose of your demon race's visit here?"

At this moment, many white foxes in the distance stood up and watched from afar, while some young white foxes cautiously approached, looking up at Li Molin and the others with curiosity.
