Chapter 243 Getting into Trouble

Originally, the nine-tailed fox's physique was not suitable for cultivating human techniques. She only needed to allow her body to automatically absorb spiritual energy over a long period of time and then safely pass through the Heavenly Tribulation to become the most powerful nine-tailed fox. However, because she was revived by the Soul Summoning Incantation, it unknowingly changed her physique to be most suitable for cultivating demonic arts.

For the past twenty years, besides causing trouble in the Demon Realm, she has diligently cultivated demonic arts. At this moment, all her spiritual power has been transformed into demonic power. Although she is only over four hundred years old, her cultivation level is already equivalent to the late stage of the Demon Heart realm. Moreover, her demonic power has reached a critical point, and she will soon be able to generate three more tails and become a nine-tailed fox after passing through the Heavenly Tribulation.

The hundred or so demons who were besieging Liuli were not highly skilled; the most powerful among them was only at the late stage of demonic thought. Therefore, she used a long whip to maneuver and fight with ease amidst the siege of a hundred people.

The time it takes for an incense stick to burn has passed since the conflict began. At this point, seven or eight people have died at Liuli's hands, and more than a dozen others have sustained injuries of varying degrees.

The onlookers, watching the battle unfold, only grew more boisterous with each death, showing no intention of mediating the conflict whatsoever. The Demon Realm truly was a cold-blooded and ruthless place.

A wicked smile played on Liuli's lips as her long whip coiled around a young man's neck like a serpent. Her gaze turned cold, and with a sudden jerk of her right hand, she pulled back, causing the whip, tightly wrapped around the boy's neck, to tighten abruptly, making his neck appear thinner. The boy's face instantly turned a bluish-purple, his eyes bulging as if they were about to pop out.

Liuli retracted her whip and casually lashed it to the side. The whip brought with it a burst of demonic light, deflecting all the weapons that were being swung at her. It also struck several people, leaving whip marks on their bodies and causing them to bleed profusely.

As soon as Liuli retracted her whip, the boy immediately collapsed to the ground, clearly lifeless.
