Chapter 28 Beautiful and Picturesque

Li Molin caught the clothes that Liuli threw out, and couldn't help but frown. He had never paid attention to women's clothes before. Moreover, demon women dressed freely and simply, while human women's clothes were much more conservative and elaborate, with layers upon layers, which was really troublesome.

After watching for a while, he called out, "Yu Ke, come and take a look."

Yu Ke walked over and examined it closely, then frowned and said, "Young Master, I don't know either."

The burly man, growing impatient, said, "Young Master, just have me kidnap a human woman to help Miss Liuli change her clothes!"

Upon hearing this, Li Molin looked at Yu Ke, who pondered for a long time before saying, "That's the only way."

Li Molin nodded and said, "Go ahead, Yu Ke. Human women are weak and frail. If Ji Jue makes a move, he might bring back a half-dead one."

Ji Jue looked resentful and was about to speak when Yu Ke smiled, glanced at him, and bowed, replying, "Yes, Young Master!"

Ji Jue had no choice but to stop, standing there with a face full of resentment.

Yu Ke took flight and flew into the distance. At that moment, Liu Li's impatient voice came from within the white light, asking, "Have you decided yet? How should I dress?"

Li Molin paused, remaining silent.

After waiting a moment without a response, Liuli raised her voice impatiently and asked, "Hey! Did you guys hear me?"

Seeing that he couldn't refuse any longer, Li Molin coughed lightly and stammered, "Please wait a moment."

"Why should I wait?" Liuli's voice grew increasingly impatient.

Li Molin couldn't answer. After a pause, he said unhappily, "Why do you have so many questions? I told you to wait, so just wait obediently!"

"Hmph!" Liuli was furious.

After a while, Yu Ke flew over, holding a screaming woman in his grasp. As soon as he landed, he frowned and threw the woman away, looking at her panicked face with disgust.

The woman lost her footing and fell to the ground, her face pale and lips bloodless with fright. Her voice trembled as she asked, "Who...who are you? What...what do you want?"

Li Molin glanced at her and saw that she was dressed as a maid, presumably one of the maids of the merchants traveling on the main road. His expression was indifferent, and he said in a deep voice, "You don't need to be alarmed. As long as you do as I say, I will not harm you."

The woman swallowed hard and replied in a trembling voice, "Yes...yes, may I ask what you need me for, sir?"

Li Molin handed her the clothes and said in a deep voice, "Take these clothes to that white light and teach the girl inside to put them on."

The woman was stunned. She looked at the clothes in Li Molin's hand and then at the white light in the distance. She paused for a while before her legs felt less weak. She stood up shakily, took the clothes, and walked towards the white light. She took a deep breath in front of the white light and went inside.

At that moment, Liuli was squatting in the white light, idly watching the ants crawling on the ground. When she heard the noise, she looked up and saw a woman. She asked in confusion, "Who are you?"

The woman clutched the clothes in her arms tightly, bowed tremblingly, and said in a trembling voice, "The young master outside asked me to teach you to put on these clothes."

Liu Li was taken aback, then burst into laughter, exclaiming, "So, Li Molin, you bastard, don't know how to wear these clothes either!"

Li Molin shook his head and smiled wryly, then lowered his head and touched his nose.

Liuli fell silent. Then, a faint sound came from within the white light. After a while, the white light flashed and gradually disappeared, revealing Liuli and the human woman's figures.

Li Molin looked up and his gaze sharpened.

Liuli wore a long white brocade dress, embroidered with elegant branches in dark brown silk thread mixed with silver, extending from the hem upwards to her waist. Each branch was adorned with peach blossoms embroidered in peach-pink silk thread. The pattern was exquisite. A wide red belt cinched her slender waist, highlighting its delicate curves and emphasizing her already well-developed figure. Over the white dress, she wore a light, water-red cloak that hung softly, making her small face appear even more radiant and fair. Her long, black hair was unbound, flowing smoothly down to her waist like water, shimmering with a lustrous glow.

The breathtaking beauty lasted only a moment. The next instant, Liuli roughly pulled at the collar of her dress and tugged at the tightly tied belt. Her small face scrunched up in displeasure as she said, "These clothes are so uncomfortable to wear! I can hardly move around!"

Li Molin smiled and shook his head, saying, "Alright, if you want to walk in the mortal world, you must get used to these clothes. Let's go, into the city!"

Yu Ke looked at the woman behind Liu Li and asked in a low voice, "Young Master, what should we do with this human woman? Should we... kill her directly?"

The human woman, who had been standing obediently behind Liuli with her head down as if she didn't exist, trembled in fright when she vaguely heard Yu Ke's words.

Liuli had excellent hearing; although Yu Ke spoke very softly, she still heard him clearly. Her face darkened, and she said in a strange tone, "You demons are truly cold-blooded, ruthless, and ungrateful!"

Yu Ke paused, then looked at her with displeasure.

Upon hearing the words "demon race," the human woman trembled again, her face turning even paler.

Li Molin pondered for a moment, then shook his head and said, "Never mind, let's go!"

Yu Ke's gaze darkened. He looked at Liu Li, then at Li Molin, and gently shook his head.

Li Molin took the lead and walked into the farmland, stepping on the slightly muddy ground towards the main road. Ji Jue yawned and followed behind him. Yu Ke glanced at Liu Li and followed.

Liuli turned to the human woman and said with a smile, "Thank you so much for today!"

The woman bowed gracefully and said with heartfelt gratitude, "Not at all, this servant should be thanking you for saving my life, young lady."

Liuli laughed heartily, but as she took a step forward, she almost tripped over her long skirt and fell to the ground. The woman quickly helped her up.

Liuli barely managed to stay upright so as not to fall. Her little face fell again, and she lifted her skirt and walked away muttering to herself.
