Only then did Liuli turn her head to look around. She saw that this was the place where she and Li Molin had entered the death formation. It seemed that they had failed to pass through the death formation, broken out of it, and returned.
She said dejectedly, "We can't get through this deadly formation; it seems we won't get the treasure."
Li Molin shook his head and sighed, "It's good enough that we came out alive..."
Liuli thought about it and realized that the dangers of the death formation still made her feel a little scared.
"That's enough." Li Molin leaned against the mountain wall and stood up unsteadily, saying in a low voice, "Let's go out."
"Oh." Liuli quickly helped him up. His tall and imposing figure made Liuli's petite stature seem even more striking.
The man and the fox struggled to walk through the killing array and the illusion array, and then walked out without any hindrance. The Taoist array is indeed mysterious and profound. On the way they came, Li Molin and Liuli entered another space after entering the array, but when they passed through the array on the way out, not even a single array flag moved.
Soon, Liuli helped Li Molin out of the cave. Although she felt that a long time had passed, it seemed that the time outside the cave was the same as when they came. The entire cloud platform was still covered by a layer of misty clouds. The moonlight shone through the clouds onto the jade railing, reflecting a greenish light that enveloped the entire cloud platform.
"Young Master!"
"Young Master!"
"..."
As soon as the man and the fox emerged, a cacophony of voices arose. Yu Ke and Ji Jue flew over first, and Yu Ke went over to support Li Molin, asking with concern, "Young Master, are you alright?"
Li Molin shook his head and said calmly, "It's alright. How are things here?"
Yu Ke helped Li Molin and a dozen or so demons who had arrived one after another to start walking back. As they walked, Yu Ke said dejectedly, "We tried one after another, but none of us could get past Qingyun and Qingling."
Li Molin nodded knowingly and said, "Alright, what about Buddhism and Taoism?"
The group walked to the front of the jade railing. As they passed the center of the Cloud Platform, they saw Qingling standing to the side, while Qingyun was fighting with a Buddhist disciple. Li Molin glanced at them briefly before turning his gaze away. With Yu Ke's help, he sat down against the railing.
Yu Ke sat down opposite Li Molin and said in a low voice, "Three Buddhist monks have passed the test, and only one Taoist monk has passed it. They are still in the cave. Of the people remaining on the cloud platform, about 30% have tried, but none of them have passed. Strangely enough, Qingyun and Qingling don't seem to get tired at all."
Liuli stood beside Li Molin, tiptoeing to look. She saw that apart from the monk fighting Qingyun in the center of the cloud platform, the remaining Buddhist and Taoist forces were each guarding their own camps, many of them injured. The more she looked, the more her face darkened. After a long while, she lowered her head and asked, "Yu Ke, where is the little monk?"
"What?" Yu Ke asked, puzzled.
“Little monk Shichan,” Liuli continued to ask.
Yu Ke looked at Li Molin, who remained silent for a moment, his eyes darkening, and said in a deep voice, "Where did that monk go?"
Yu Ke nodded, looked up at Liu Li, and said, "The monk Shi Chan has passed Qing Yun's test and entered the cave."
Liuli was startled and frowned, saying, "Is he stupid? That cave is dangerous. With his level of cultivation, isn't he just courting death?"
Yu Ke smiled faintly and said, "Miss, you are overthinking it. Since that monk was able to pass the Qingyun test, he is already much more capable than the people on the Cloud Platform."
Liuli peered into the direction of the cave, her little face showing even more worry.
Li Molin withdrew his gaze from Liuli's face, a slightly somber expression appearing in his eyes.
Yu Ke glanced at Li Molin's expression, shook her head, and sighed softly.
