Chapter 63 Seeing Him Again

Soon, Ji Jue returned carrying a water bag. He handed the water bag to Liu Li, who then quickly handed it to A Hua, saying softly, "A Hua, be good, drink some water quickly."

Ahua mumbled a reply, took a sip of water to swallow the food in her mouth, coughed, and looked up at Liuli obediently, saying, "Thank you, sister, I'm full."

Ahua was well-behaved and adorable, yet also quite pitiful. Liuli grew to like her more and more, truly regarding her as a younger sister. She chuckled, took out a handkerchief to wipe Ahua's mouth, and said softly, "It's good that you're full."

Then, Liuli looked up at Ji Jue and said without any politeness, "Ahua is full, but I haven't eaten yet. What are you standing there for? Continue grilling meat!"

"Oh." Ji Jue paused for a moment, then obediently skewered the washed and peeled meat and put it on the fire to grill.

Li Molin couldn't help but chuckle, and Liuli immediately glared at him unhappily.

Li Molin coughed lightly, turned his gaze to Ahua in Liuli's arms, and asked in a deep voice, "What is your relationship with Liang Yihan? Why are you looking for him?"

Ahua glanced timidly at Li Molin, then shrank into Liuli's arms, refusing to answer him.

Li Molin said calmly, "Liang Yihan is hiding inside the Yuandao Sect's mountain gate. She's not someone you can just find easily. Liuli, do you have a way to help her find Liang Yihan?"

Liuli paused for a moment, then shook her head and said, "I can't..." She looked up at Li Molin and asked, "Li Molin, do you have a way?"

Li Molin smiled faintly and fell silent.

Ahua was clever; she knew that if she didn't answer Li Molin's question, he probably wouldn't reveal his solution. She looked up at Liuli, then timidly turned her gaze to Li Molin and whispered, "Liang Yihan and I... we grew up together, we grew up together in the Begonia Courtyard. He said I was his companion, his closest friend... But that year, he told me he was going to Qingxu Mountain to seek immortality, and then he left... I could never find him again. I searched the entire mansion, I waited for him in the Begonia Courtyard for many years, but I couldn't wait for him... I couldn't wait for him..."

As she spoke, Ahua's voice gradually choked up, and she could barely speak.

Liuli hugged Ahua tightly and gently coaxed, "Alright, Ahua, don't be sad. I'll definitely help you find him, okay?"

"Okay." Ahua reached out and hugged Liuli's neck, burying her face in her neck. Soon, tears soaked Liuli's clothes. Ahua's voice was pleading, and she choked out, "Sister, you must help me. I just want to see him one more time. I just want to know if he's doing well."

Liuli nodded, patted Ahua's back lightly, and said softly, "Ahua, don't worry, your sister will definitely help you."

As she spoke, Liuli looked up at Li Molin and asked, "Li Molin, you must have a way, right?"

Li Molin ignored Liuli's question and instead looked at Ahua indifferently, asking, "Before you became a demon, you should have just been an ordinary house cat. With your aptitude, how could you have become a demon?"

Ahua looked up at Liuli, and seeing Liuli nod, she turned to Li Molin and said timidly, "I stumbled upon this place by accident. A few days ago, I was wandering around in the mountains when I was chased by wolves and accidentally wandered into a cave. I was hungry, so I ate the pills inside and then passed out. When I woke up, I found that I had turned into a human, and I could speak, just like Liang Yihan..."

As they continued talking, Ahua's speech became more and more fluent.

Ahua chuckled and said, "I remember when we were both little, he would always talk to me, but I couldn't answer him... He said it would be great if I could talk. Now that I can talk, he'll be so happy."

Li Molin's expression remained unchanged as he continued, "Besides the pills, what else is in that cave?"

Ahua looked bewildered and shook her head, saying, "I walked out in a daze and don't remember what else was in there."

"Where is that cave? Take me there," Li Molin said calmly.

Ahua said blankly, "I don't remember."

Li Molin's face darkened, and he said in a deep voice, "If you don't tell me where the cave is, I won't take you to find Liang Yihan."

In her panic, Ahua exclaimed, "I've really forgotten where that cave is!"

Li Molin remained silent, staring intently at Ahua's face, carefully scrutinizing every expression on it.

Ahua was almost in tears. She looked up at Liuli and said pitifully, "Sister, I really don't remember."

"Okay, okay, I believe you." Liuli patted Ahua's back gently, then looked at Li Molin with a sullen face and said angrily, "Li Molin, why are you bullying Ahua? Do you have any other ideas?"

Li Molin stared intently at Ahua and asked, word by word, "Tell me, where exactly is that cave?"

"Li Molin!" Liuli shouted angrily.

Li Molin paused, and after a long while, sighed helplessly, "Forget it, forget it. Liuli, you didn't even realize you'd been deceived!"

Ahua looked at Liuli with a wronged expression and said timidly, "Sister, I won't lie to you."

"Mmm." Liuli nodded gently and said, "Ahua is such a good girl."

Liu Li looked up at Li Molin, her voice softening, and asked, "Li Molin, do you have any way to find Liang Yihan?"
