Qin Huai'an was destined to make a wasted trip, because Tang Qi was taking Meng Wan to the company.
"You guessed from the start that he would deliberately prevent us from going in?"
"Qin Huai'an is very concerned about his image, so he would rather find someone to paint for him to maintain his dignity than let people know that he has long since lost his talent. Similarly, since yesterday's incident made him lose face, he will definitely try to regain his face in other ways."

Meng Wan rolled her eyes without any politeness, but ultimately didn't refute anything.
Upon arrival, the two entered the company and, by sheer coincidence, ran into Lin Bai, who was just about to go out on a field trip.
"So, while I'm working myself to the bone in the field, you're busy attending your brother's sports meet and bringing your sister to visit the company! Tang Qi, have you no conscience? I haven't had a good night's sleep in half a month!"
The moment Lin Bai saw Tang Qi with Meng Wan, he handed the documents in his hand to his assistant behind him and rushed forward to grab Tang Qi's collar.
"Don't go crazy."
Faced with Lin Bai's outburst, Tang Qi calmly moved his hand away.
"Is your brother alright?" Lin Bai's grandfather was the principal of Berlin, and Tang Li was Meng Wan's brother. The old man had always liked Meng Wan, so it wasn't surprising that he knew this.
"It's nothing. What are you doing on field assignments?"
"That kid Yan Nian, though young, has a sharp eye. He can spot even the smallest flaws, and now another batch of his work has been rejected." Lin Bai pointed to the document he had just handed to his assistant and pursed his lips.
"There's no other way, I have to go to the factory myself to take a look." Lin Bai spread his hands, his eyes looking at Meng Wan with a hint of resentment.
Meng Wan looked away, pretending she couldn't see anything.
Despite the complaints, the group was very focused on quality, which is why they were able to reach an agreement. Any conflicts were only about the project, not about the people involved, and the collaboration was quite 'pleasant'.
"If you're not in a hurry, you can stay here." Tang Qi's words piqued Lin Bai's curiosity.
"What? Is there a good show going on?"
"Qin Huai'an will probably be here in less than half an hour."
Lin Bai's eyes lit up, and he followed Tang Qi towards the elevator. "Oh right, didn't you say you were going to the Qin family?"
Tang Qi glanced at him but did not answer.
Lin Bai's curiosity was piqued, and since there was no rush to go to the factory, he waved his hand and changed the travel plans to the afternoon, while he went upstairs with the brother and sister.
Unable to resist Lin Bai's persistent nagging, Tang Qi briefly summarized what had happened that morning.
"So, he gave you the cold shoulder, and now you're turning around and giving him the cold shoulder?"
“No, we’re just busy. We can’t help it, we have to keep our elders waiting a little longer.” Meng Wan chimed in, looking at Tang Qi with a smug expression.
The latter smiled and pushed open the office door.
"Just play on the sofa by yourself. If there's anything you want to eat, ask your assistant to buy it for you."
"I'm not a three-year-old anymore," Meng Wan muttered under her breath.
Lin Bai was glad he didn't go; just watching the two siblings get along was interesting enough.
Each person huddled in a corner, doing their own thing.
When Qin Huai'an arrived at the Tang family's residence, he was indeed turned away at the door. Tang Qi and Meng Wan managed to enter, but Qin Huai'an couldn't even step through the front door.
"Mr. Qin, Mr. Tang is currently at the company and not at home. I'm sorry we can't let you in. If you have an urgent matter, you can make an appointment at the company's front desk in advance."
Seeing the expression on Butler Chen's face as he saw him off through the railing, Qin Huai'an felt that the other party was mocking him, but he couldn't find any fault with him.
Qin Huai'an gritted his teeth and slammed the car door shut with a look of resentment.
Unfortunately, he himself had created this situation, so no matter how furious he was, Qin Huai'an could only swallow his anger.

"Go to the Tang family."

"Yes, Mr. Qin," the receptionist replied with a smile, cutting off Qin Huai'an's words.
"Mr. Tang is busy right now, please wait a moment."
"Is this how Tang Qi does things? Making an elder wait for him here!" Qin Huai'an's cane banged on the floor, attracting a lot of attention.
