The ultimate challenge: upload a virus to rewrite the factory's main brain before the core meltdown countdown ends.
A shrill alarm brought Yunshuo and Yuheng back to reality from the dizziness of the transmission.
They stood in a rusty factory hall, with pipes crisscrossing overhead and the air filled with the smell of engine oil and metal.
"Welcome to the Rust Belt Factory." A cold AI voice sounded, "Core temperature abnormalities, overload countdown begins."
Yun Shuo quickly glanced around and found a power grid distribution map and several available terminals on the wall.
"It seems like we have to be electricians." He smiled, but his eyes were focused.
Yuheng had already started to act. He used the tools he got from the "Mirage Market" to quickly pry open a control box.
"I'll stabilize the north line, and you go connect the emergency cooling." Yu Heng said calmly.
The two had a clear division of labor and worked in perfect harmony. Yunshuo adjusted power distribution through the terminal, successfully securing valuable power for the cooling system.
Just as they were about to enter the next area, the ground suddenly shook and a group of AI-controlled mechanical guards surrounded them.
"Trouble is coming." Yun Shuo clenched the weapon in his hand.
After a fierce battle, they finally arrived at the core control room of the factory.
"Is the virus ready?" Yu Heng asked.
Yun Shuo nodded and inserted a chip containing the virus program into the main brain interface.
"Uploading takes time, and the mastermind may clear out abnormal programs," he explained.
"I'll hold it back." Yu Heng connected to the main brain's defense system without hesitation.
The countdown was rapidly decreasing, and Yunshuo nervously monitored the upload progress. Just as the progress bar was about to be completed, the main brain activated the clearing process!
At the critical moment, Yun Shuo thought quickly and used the "time key" to temporarily freeze the system time.
"Now!" he shouted.
The progress bar completed its final jump in the gap where time stood still.
"Upload successful." The system prompt sounded.
The alarms stopped abruptly, the factory lights returned to normal, and a new key emerged from the Mastermind's core.
"Congratulations on obtaining the 'Rust Key'."
Just as they breathed a sigh of relief, the reminder in their minds sounded again: "The fifth instance of 'Fantasy Realm: Masked Theater' is being prepared."
