Dungeon 5: Fantasy Realm Masked Theater
Rules panel: Put on different masks to gain abilities, dispel curses through performances, and reveal the truth.
The ultimate challenge: face the "King of Tricks," who can replicate the powers of your mask.
The curtain slowly opened, and Yun Shuo and Yu Heng found themselves standing backstage at a magnificent ancient theater. Masks of all kinds hung all around them, each one seeming to silently tell a story.
"Welcome to the Masked Theater." A gentle yet playful voice sounded, "Here, you will exchange your 'performance' for passage."
Several rows of masks appeared before them, each row describing a different ability:
Memory Face: Can read a memory of another person.
Mirror Image: Can copy one of the opponent's moves, but can only be used once.
Face of Silence: Can make everything around fall into a brief silence.
"This is a battle that requires acting skills." Yun Shuo said thoughtfully.
"It's also a battle that requires seeing through acting," Yu Heng added.
They put on masks and officially began this strange trial.
Scene 1: The Stage of Memory
On the stage, a grieving female ghost repeatedly replayed the moment of her own death. Yun Shuo donned the "Memory Mask" and softly read out her wish: "She just wanted her fiancé to know that she had never betrayed him."
Instead of fighting, they staged a little play to reveal the truth. After watching it, the ghost smiled and disappeared.
Scene 2: Rival in the Mirror
A knight wearing a mirror mask appeared, able to perfectly copy his opponent's moves. Yu Heng decisively put on the "mirror mask", first copied the knight's defense, and then used his own moves to break the deadlock.
Final Showdown: King of Tricks
In the center of the theater, the "King of Magic" appeared. He could copy the abilities of all their masks, making him an extremely formidable opponent.
"We can't follow his script." Yun Shuo whispered.
"Then change the script." Yuheng replied.
They made a bold decision: to exchange masks.
When the King of Tricks tries to copy their abilities, he only copies their "basic abilities" rather than the "combo skills" they create through tacit cooperation.
In the brief silence created by the "Vess of Silence," Yun Shuo used the "Vess of Memory" to read the core of the King of Tricks' mask and found its weakness. Then, Yu Heng used the "Vess in the Mirror" to replicate the "Vess of Memory"'s detection ability, magnifying the weakness.
"Now, curtain call."
The two launched a combination of skills at the same time, defeating the King of Tricks in one fell swoop.
The curtain of the theater slowly closed, and a new key appeared before them, with a word engraved on it: drama.
"Congratulations on obtaining the 'Play Key'."
At this moment, the voice in my mind sounded again: "The final dungeon, 'Border Forest Gap Village', is being prepared."
